Not bad stay but not comfortable ! And I saw something new lol

I liked the location so much very close around the town ! And quiet !

I did. Not like the way or the style of the rooms like the prison !! Also when I booked I saw the photos for a normal room but when in check in I was in prison ! I changed it and I had to pay extra 40 EUR ! But the problem also the room was really small enough to have the bed head under the window !

Nice staff, very clean, good breakfast, interesting design - how often do you get to stay in an authentic former prison

Three major discomforts: no wifi in the rooms, no air conditioning, and very limited furnishings in the room (no drawers or shelves). For North American travellers these are things you expect in every hotel.

Just pick this one!

Perhaps my favourite hotel in Kaiserslautern. Staff and Rooms and Facilities were terrific. Solidly-good breakfast. It's a fun place to stay and very comfortable with easy parking on premesis.

The location was great. Staff was friendly. The bedroom was overall comfortable, and the badroom well equiped. The breakfast was great.

There was no internet connection in the room, and the showers were shared but not private. Also, it was a challenge to get into the top bunk.

Basic and Pocket-friendly. Good breakfast.

Very convenient and quiet location. I stayed in the cell rooms which have a prison concept. A first experience for me which was interesting. The hotel and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Excellent and friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. COVID-19 protocols well observed. Overall, this is a basic budget hotel. For the price, not much is expected but it delivers.

The internet coverage in the hotel rooms was poor so do not expect much. Thankfully as it was not a busy time, the customer service went out of their way to find me a room with internet so I could get some work done.

I've stayed here before. It's a converted ex-prison so you need to adjust your expections in light of that. It's a quirky place but I like it. It has secure parking.

The curtains don't keep much light out & the heating was struggling a bit.
