Close by and easy to get to. Very clean and convenient to grocery and restaurants. Amazing hospitality and help in trip planning. Convenient to Hamilton Gardens and Waitomo Caves. Plan an additional day to explore Cambridge. Hosts had thought of everything including plug adapter and nightlight in bathroom and nice outdoor space. Quiet and Nice snacks and breakfast items.

Location was great, close to everything Cambridge has to offer. The owners were so lovely and helpful. The bed was very comfortable.

Charming apartment, perfect for overnight stay

Lovely and charming apartment which was spotless and very neat. Good size bathroom. Very friendly hosts. Comfortable bed and pillows. Was nice to have a couch to sit on. Tidy kitchenette with everything required for breakfast. There is no kitchen sink but dirty cutlery is replaced by the host. Very good value for money. There is a dairy and a coffee shop within easy walking distance. The town centre is about a 30min walk.

The street in front of the house had more traffic during the morning than expected, but for the rest of the time it was nice and quiet.

Absolutely everything you could possibly need with great hosts. Everything was immaculate and exceedingly well presented. The bed was really comfy and a bonus…a big, full length mirror!

Cosy and homely!

Penny and Laurie are fantastic hosts! They are so knowledgeable about the local scene, can give you plenty of reccos and are extremely friendly. You might end up spending all your time in Cambridge just chatting away with these two! The accommodation is wonderful, feels like you're at home. As a little town, Cambridge is charming and provides plenty of restaurant options. You cannot go wrong staying here!

Room and bathroom were really lovely and everything was clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee and breakfast as well as little extras of chocs and biscuits were all included and felt very homely. Hosts were super lovely too. We were very happy with our stay

Penny and Laurie were exceptional hosts. We arrived exhausted, hours late, driving down from Auckland Airport, being stuck in a traffic jam, nil visibility from pouring rain, hail and thunderstorms, to a lovely warm reception on such a cold dark night. Their kindness and warmth, we will never forget. Their years of experience managing/owning holiday accommodation/guest apartments shone thru, having an exceptional eye for detail and perfection. Everything you needed plus more. Fabulous breakfast in a well-equipped kitchenette. Having travelled worldwide for more than 50 years, this would rate as one of my best stays ever. A good home.

It was comfortable, sparkling clean and warm. The pillows and bed were soft but supportive and the bathroom had an excellent shower. Breakfast choices were ample (loved the wee breakfast nook!) and catered for various dietary needs. Wifi was fast. We ate where our hosts recommended and had a most enjoyable meal. Parking was off street and safe.
