About this villa rental
This luxury holiday villa with sea views really does have everything you need for the perfect family holiday. The villa has a private fenced pool and is also located within a high quality urbanisation right next to the beach. The urbanisation provides lovely walkways with a great adult and children's pool next to a bar and restaurant. Further to this, you are right next to the best beaches in Marbella/Elviria where there are water sports and rock-free sea entry. The famous Nikki beach club is also located here together with the Marriott Marbella Beach Club. There are restaurants, bars etc all on your doorstep. The airport is 30 minutes away. This villa truly is the perfect place for a large family group to take a great holiday on the Costa del Sol. What more could you want ? This colonial style beach house is perfect for families and large groups of up to ten people. It is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. The lounge is comfortable and has the full Sky TV package enabled for all the movies and sports channels along with several other international channels. There is also a high speed fibre optic Internet access point with WIFI and a safe is available in the property. The indoor dining area provides dining for eight people. There is a further lounge off the hallway with a further Sky TV system again with the full package enabled. Upstairs on the first floor there are three bedrooms including the master bedroom which has its own outside terrace with spectacular sea views. Upstairs to the top level, there is a further twin room with a nice bathroom. Passing through this room you will get to a double bedroom area. Note that there is no actual door that cuts off the double bedroom area from the twin bedroom area. This would be a good place for children who like to be close to the parents. You have spectacular seaviews from here as well. Going outside from the lounge you pass out onto a terraced area next to the fenced pool. Here there is a dining area for up to 10 people plus a relaxing comfortable seating area for up to eight people. There is also a gas barbeque. To the side of the house is the main garden which is mainly grass and some Mediterranean plants. Outside the front of the villa is parking for a car.

The villa is in a brilliant location, close to a beautiful beach with a relatively short walk to shops, restaurants and stores. The pool and gardens were well cared for and a great asset to the villa; the access to a communal pool was an added bonus. The air conditioning at the villa was excellent and a real necessity in the glorious weather.

Vi var 9 personer som leide huset 1 uke i juli 2022. Huset var bedre enn vi trodde. Bassenget var ikke helt rent når vi kom, men ble ordnet etter litt purring fra oss. Dette huset kunne vi tenkt oss å leie igjen. Mange soverom med mange bad.

We stayed at Villa Carlos for 2 weeks in August 2022. A mixed experience.
Firstly the good:
- location. Fantastic location for access to the beach (2 mins) and Elvira area (few restaurants, supermarket). Do need a car or good taxi for access to Marbella (15 min drive).
- layout. Lovely outdoor terrace and bbq area right next to the pool, with good sized garden. Kids loved it.
- pool. Really nice size and temperature (not heated but gets sun most of the day). Owner should put depth on property description as not suitable if kids cannot swim.
- size. Very spacious, we had 4 adults and 3 kids and it was great for all of us.
- aircon. Simple to use and very effective quickly.
- TV setup (essential for kids) Netflix, Prime and others work well.
- internet - fast Wi-Fi throughout
The bad
- villa and furnishings are very tired. For the price we paid this should be a much more luxurious villa. The kitchen has miss8ng utensils (scissors anyone?), a tiny oven and generally needs a refit.
- stuff. The owners stuff is everywhere - random clothes and other items in cupboards - should be cleared or locked away. Meant we couldn’t use half the cupboards.
- cleanliness. Mid stay (Saturday changeover) cleaners were promised. They didn’t show until Monday. Property manager was useless in arranging or chasing up.
- property manager - generally useless - top floor shower never fixed (notified on first day) and lights in two first floor bedrooms didn’t work throughout stay. Generally didn’t call back or seem to care.
