My son, grandson and his friend arrived in the dark due to a longer than anticipated drive from Wales, but thanks to the specific directions provided, they were able to drive straight to the cottage without any problem. My son said that the standing out in the garden at night, hearing the loch lapping at the shore, seeing the stars so bright and with an owl hooting in the nearby tree made him feel so peaceful. They woke up to a lovely view of the mountains!
Nothing that affected their enjoyment and comfort, but they had hoped for a log burner.

Beautiful location opposite the loch. Friendly neighbours too. Great for exploring Fort William, Glencoe and the surrounding areas.
The twin beds mattresses were a bit springy, the picture in the master bedroom fell off the wall, thankfully when we were not in bed. It could have landed on our heads. Also it would have been useful to have fans as very warm in summer months and difficult to open windows fully with midges.

Firstly the location... Stunning views over the loch, very quiet& peaceful area to stay. The house has everything you need, a real home from home with lots of nice little touches that make staying here a real pleasure.
