It was great, the place was clean and everything I needed was provided.

It was clean and close to the road.

The door to the other room should be permanently closed for full privacy. The eletricity went off in the midnight while I needed to prepare for my presentation at 3am. I was so stressed and couldn’t like to wake people with calls at that time.

Pelikaan 9 is a place to spend a weekend away

It was nice. I also met the owner it was awesome, and we were on your own. It was peaceful and quiet for relaxing time away with the wife. I would recommend anyone to go there.

The place was clean, no disturbance, it felt like you were at your own place. The place was nice inside and outside. My wife was really impressed with the place and myself.

I have had better stays

Location

Noise through the walls. Can hear everyone’s conversation. House ran out if electricity sat in the dark for 4 hours until owners got home and bought electricity. Then load-shedding happened. Mind you I was studying for an exam.

You get what you pay for!

Situated on a very quiet street. The host was around to help us sort out the tv that was not working. The room had a security door and parking right outside.

The room was very small, and the bathroom was very basic, no shower soap, shower took forever to produce a little stream of water. The room is separated from the main house, so voices could be heard. Only a candle was provided to deal with load shedding, which is totally insufficient should you need something at night. The bathroom needs a new coat of paint and some freshening up.

Perfect for a nights stopover

We stayed here for a nights stopover and it was absolutely perfect. Super comfortable bed and great TV with Netflix. It was a small room but perfect for its purpose.

The bathroom door was really loud and creaky and kept opening by itself whenever I closed it.
