Welcoming and caring owner/manager

Super helpful staff, always eager to assist. I made several extra requests during my stay and everything was kindly provided without any issue. The host was especially supportive, which I really appreciated—thank you! The facilities were clean, modern, and well maintained

One small thing to mention – I had specifically chosen the place because the description on Booking noted a large double bed, but it turned out to be a standard double. Not a big issue, but worth noting if that detail matters to you

A really enjoyable stay

This is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed, the rooms are modern and clean, surrounded by trees and flowers. The pool is great. But the best aspect of our stay was definitely the hospitality, the owner went above and beyond in ensuring our stay was smooth and enjoyable.

Lovely stay for a few nights, great host.

Krisna was an amazing host, she was always just a whatsapp away if we needed anything. The property is clean, quiet and relaxing. A nice room with shower etc, perfect for a few nights Nusa Penida. Krisna also rents motorbikes for your stay so you don’t have to worry about finding a rental place.

The only thing negative we could say would be that the wifi was not the best up in the cottage but we were in the furthest away one so this may be why.

Amazing place with amazing hosts

This property was great. Close enough to the main developed area to be a quick scooter ride but still quiet and secluded. The room was very modern - much more so than other places I’ve stayed in the area. The location was also a nice spot to view the sunset when I was too tired to actually go somewhere to watch it. The hosts were amazing and kind. We got in an accident with our scooter and they went above and beyond to make sure we were okay and helped drive one of our group to the hospital late at night to make sure we were okay. Will definitely stay again. Can’t recommend this place enough

Good budget stay for Nusa Penida

We enjoyed our stay at Krisna Guest House - the owner is lovely and all too happy to help with any requests. She arranged a car and driver at very short notice so that we could tour Nusa Penida and also arranged transport for us to the ferry. The location is high on the mountain so not so many eating choices around but it suited us as we didn't spend much time at the accommodation due to visiting sights around the island. People who want to chill a bit more may prefer a different location or need their own transport. We stayed in the triple room (which is actually an old Balinese house) and the accommodation was just okay, maybe a little old and shabbier than we would have liked but it suited our needs for a family of 5. I peeked at the other rooms there and they looked beautifully decorated though and the pool was very nice so I think you will be happy if you book the double rooms.

Not many eating options at this location and on site cafe closed - but there is a great place we discovered a few bends down the road to the left called Nana Penida

Cheap place to stay for few nights, just be careful with the facilities as they are quite old.

A cheap and clean place to stay for a few nights if you are visiting the Nusa Penida island with friendly and helpful staff.

The key for our room door snapped in the lock since it was an old lock, and we were charged IDR 100000 for damages.

The rooms were nice. Pool was amazing. My kids and i liked it. We stayed for a night. Everything was nice. We only had breakfast as we we were exploring Nusa Penida in a day we couldnt stay back in the hotel, but breakfast was good too. Will definitely go back. As its clean comfortable bedding and value for money.

Reception closes at 3pm. This was mentioned earlier also. If your mindul and get everything in order before 3 pm you will be good. I just needed a car to go grab dinner and ir was not easy to get a driver in Nusa Penida in last minute after sun down. And no water kettles inside rooms which i personally needed for a cup of coffee early in the morning when i wake up.

Great staff, great place

We travelled with a group of 5 and we booked an apartment style room which had 3 bedrooms in one, so it was really great to all be together. Bedrooms were very basic but otherwise great value for money and the staff were so lovely and helpful. A bit of a quiet location and you definitely need to rent the motorbike to get anywhere but otherwise it was perfect. And had a pool!

Amazing place to stay on Nusa Penida with staff who go above and beyond

Beautiful and clean room with lovely outdoor facilities (pool and beds and table), breakfast and 10 minutes to the harbour and main area or surrounded by shops and restaurants in a close proximity. Novi was so incredibly helpful with everything. She arranged our transfers around the island, bike rental, and when we got stuck because our ferry to Gili T was cancelled - immediately put us up in her friends hotel and always messaged when she knew we had onward travel etc to see if we needed a taxi.

Beautiful, peaceful stay on Penida

Beautiful, quiet accomodation. Lovely infinity pool to watch the sunset. Hot water, tea and coffee provided, as well as a tasty breakfast and an on site shop. Also some very cute cats.

They waited for us to arrive to tell us that we could only stay for 2 of the 3 nights that we had booked months before. Despite this, they did find us alternate accomation just around the corner, booked it for us, and transported our luggage.

The team is consistently friendly and helpful, readily available to address any inquiries or concerns with timely responses. The facilities, while essential, are clean and well-kept. The location is ideal for those seeking proximity to the harbour and main road for dining and socializing.

I have only one complaint - the blanket is too thin. It appears to be a bed sheet rather than an actual blanket. Unfortunately, this has happened to me a few times in other Bali hostels. It seems to be a common practice in this area. However, if you don't mind the thinness of the blanket, you will enjoy your stay here.

Excellent staff and value for money...and the place is beautiful. Highly recommended.

My bathroom was superb (although my friend's room had the shower drain in an awkward location that meant every shower flooded then entire bathroom). The mattress was as comfortable as any I've slept on in five-star hotels. The pool was clean and we found, with the help of Novi, a great warung just a couple of minutes' walk away. Novi, our hostess, couldn't have been kinder or more helpful, even organising a taxi for us.

Nothing anyone can do about this but the steps up to our rooms had mostly higher-than-normal risers. With our short legs and ageing bones, we found them a challenge. We managed, though
