Excellent value for money in a good location

One 2 cabins (which we rented both of) so we were not disturbed and a full list of excursions, taxis and near by facilities provided. There was also a fridge of different drinks to purchase

On the main road to Crystal Bay so a little noisy but not enough to ruin the stay

Cosy bungalow surrounded by nature

A gem in Nusa Penida! Gorgeous bungalows surrounded by nature in a great location (multiple shops/restaurants within walking distance which is not always the case in Nusa Penida). Great value for money with breakfast included, super comfy beds, very clean and even had a 'mini bar' with snacks and drinks that were very reasonably priced. Also septa the owner was super helpful with booking trips and bike rentals for a decent price. 100% recommend!

Only downside was a few power cuts that lasted quite a while but this is not the property's fault at all, just something to bear in mind throughout the island! No issues whatsoever with the property, thank you for having us :)

- loud as right next to the road - very dark, a few more lamps/ light would help n make it cosy - overprized scooter rental

The place is great, very quite and the owner is very friendly.

The owner went to collect us in the harbor as if the it was included in the price, but we were charged by him (150,000) in our last day for the transfer. His service was great, but I would have left the place happier knowing that it was my decision to pay for his service rather than have this surprise in the end of my stay.

Superb

Owners so lovely and helpful. We had an amazing time there. Surrounded by nature and loads of banana trees. Just 5 min by bike from crystal bay and 10 min from the harbour. Near the property were a few local warungs with yummy food. The cabin was clean and had a mini fridge filled with beer water and some snacks with additional charge not expensive at all. The wifi and ac was great no issues at all. Very quiet he had a good rest.

the host is really kind. they have big bed.

the room and sheet is smells bad. there is no hot shower, and lot of bugs at our bed when night. no cell phone services. not recommended for family trip specially if bringing children.

WIFi was very slow to none. With no one around to reset after a storm. No wifi at tghis location, no communication with the outside world The bungalow is secluded. If you have a motorbike then its great. The owners did not come around much, breakfast was dropped off the night before, communication was an issue as I was there during the silent day and found out there would be no electricity and water for a day/night and the isl;and was shutdown for two days. There was no way to sleep in the bungalow without air conditioning, the heat and lack or air movement made that impossible. This was certainly an experience I will never forget.

DON’T GO THERE

Ginanthi Cottage is a really nice place to stay. BUT something really bad happened to us during our stay : my friend and I came back from the beach and directly took our showers. While my friend was washing her hair, she looked up and saw a smartphone in the crack between the wall and the roof of the batheroom. She screamed and directly the camera disappeared. She has been filmed naked in the shower and maybe it wasn’t the first time the camera was there... We don’t know who it was, but the person has to know where the bathroom is and how it’s made and has to have access to the back of the room... And the only person around was the owner of the cottage. This is absolutely disgusting. Absolutely no respect! We were really scared and hopefully it was our last night there! We couldn’t stop thinking about other things that could happen to us. If you go there whatch yourself! We don’t want this to happen to other girls like us.

Im großen und ganzen mehr Schein als Sein!

An sich sollte man bei diesem Preis nicht viel verlangen aber Nusa Penida hat sich im großen und ganzen zur Abzocke der Touristen entwickelt und das merkt man auch in dieser Unterkunft. Rollerpreise sind deutlich höher als die von Bali. Transfer von 15 Minuten kostet das dreifache. Es lohnt sich eher Nusa Penida als Tagestour zu machen. Die Unterkunft ist von der Lage ganz gut. Jedoch ist die Sauberkeit eine Katastrophe und der Service drum herum sehr teuer. Gibt ein paar nette Warungs drum herum die super gutes und günstiges Essen anbieten. Ein ganz großes Problem sind die Straßen. Bin selbst ein sehr guter Rollerfahrer und es ist eine Herausforderung nicht in riesigen Schlaglöchern zu landen. Nusa Penida ist und bleibt nur etwas besonderes durch ihre Fotospots. Das drum herum ist einfach nur Katastrophe und Abzocke.
