This place truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment I arrived, I knew I had made the right choice. The location is perfect — you can easily walk there from the port, which makes everything so simple and stress-free when you first arrive. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable, with attention to detail that makes you feel cared for. The bathroom is spacious and modern, something you don’t always find, and it really adds to the comfort of the stay. But what makes this place unforgettable is the owner. He is simply the best — kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. You can tell he truly cares about his guests and wants them to have the best experience possible. On top of that, the motorbike rentals are very affordable, which makes exploring the area easy and fun. I would come back without hesitation. It’s not just accommodation — it’s an experience filled with warmth and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended.

not what was advertised, but what else can you expect for this cheap

when we first arrived the owner was nice, gave us some bottled water and helped book a taxi for our excursion.

bugs all in the bathroom, including sink and toilet. can’t even identify the smell of the room and bathroom but it was so horrendous we had to leave the doors open for a while. duvet had no sheet on it and definitely wasn’t cleaned before last person, neither was the bathroom. Stayed out all day, came back late in the evening to find all our lights on and curtain open (which we knew we turned off and closed) to find our bag opened and documents folder opened hanging out the bag (which included passports). Freaked out as room hadn’t been cleaned and someone was definitely in there, nothing was taken as we know of, don’t recommend stay

Mosque very near not good for light sleepers like me ! Everything was tired and worn broken sanitary ware grey bath towels and bath mats . However for what we paid £10 for 2 a night very good value .

Room was clean, property manager Tahir was really helpful. He arranged our Nusa Penida Car with a good rate.

The location is good but to reach from main road to the hotel you have to carry your luggage almost for 150mtrs there is not proper road so you can't drag the luggage. Room was not sound proof, the place is so quiet you can hear everything of adjacent room.

Damp smelly room

The owner was friendly, he gave us cold water and helped us order a taxi.

The address was not accurate so at first we couldn’t find the property, also no one to check us in. The room smelled incredibly damp and musty and there were flies. The bathroom had no ventilation so everything was constantly wet. Aircon was hit and miss, sometimes it worked.

RUN AWAY!!!! The worst hotel I have done!

We spent an horrible night. First of all, the room was dirty, with an astronomical amount of dust and dead insects on the furniture. A unpleasant smell inside the room. The bed mattress was so hard that we wondered if it wasn’t a wooden plank!! I woke up with a torticollis! No soap provided, only shampoo!! There was no insulation, we could hear everything that was going on next door. Very hard to fall asleep!! At 1 a.m. we were awakened by a dog in agony. At 2 a.m, another was being killed… At 4 a.m. it was prayer on loudspeakers all over town for over an hour! And on top of everything else, with the four hours of sleep left, you imagine how it was on a wooden plank! Run away!!!!!

Nice location, super friendly host and stuff and a pretty big room .

The bed wasn’t soft at all , too hard and the bed sheet weren’t the prettiest. Bathroom water facility wasn’t working properly but got fixed later .

Great location, comfy room.

Great location, close to the port for the ferry and manta snorkling trips. Lovely room, clean, spacious and nice hot shower. Host very friendly and helped with scooter rental. Massive bed, a little hard but the room had everything we needed. Nice sitting area outside as well.

As with most places, the prayers were very loud in the morning, it just seemed especially loud here. Bring earplugs and it will be fine. Steps to our room, was not a problem for us but if you struggle on steps, request a ground floor room.

Clean sheets and bathroom but too much noise to stay again

Clean sheets and bathroom; BUT, super noisy! Don’t need to set your alarm here! Muslim Mosque loudspeakers right next door - begins prayers at 4:30am!!! And continues throughout day! Also walls between room are not soundproof. Very noisy stay here. No sleep!

At the beginning the room was clean. It was easy to rent bikes. The price is very good for size and location

Two evenings no water. We had to ask for additional toilet paper. On a five night stay, there was no room service at all. No safe box in the room.

Place was better than we expected. The wooden rooms after years start to be outdated, as we saw in many houses in Indonesia, but this place felt new and very cozy. We loved our stay there. Location was perfect, and the host friendly. Overall an excellenet place to stay!

Superb

The best Homestay / Apartment we had on our 3-week-Indonesia-Trip. We were in the newly built apartments, so I can only rate these. The apartments are located approximately 40 meters from the main road which makes it nicely quite. Harbor can be reached on foot (the sidewalk is with gravel, so some suitcases might be hard to get through). The rooms are were spacious, the beds thick and very comfortable. AC worked fine. Bathroom / toilet was the only one in an apartment with a shower curtain and the drain in the shower area (everywhere else you got wet feet after showering). Wifi was fine for mobile usage. The owner was very nice but we did not have much time to talk. I can clearly recommend to stay here!

Well located stay with helpful owner

+ nice big, modern rooms + super friendly and helpful owner :-) + centrally located, easy to walk to restaurants/ATM/supermarket, close to Maruti port

- no fan, only AC and rooms are quite warm and musty. Got a cold from AC (set it to 28°C, maybe needs to be cleaned and is contaminated?!) - so be careful when you wanna go diving! - very loud during the night, although bungalows are a bit away from the main street - no breakfast, even tho it said that breakfast is included in the German description

Central location and a bargain stay

The location is perfect, we arrived from nusa lembongan and walked 5 minutes from the port to the hotel. The owner is the loveliest person, really helpful in recommending where to go. We hired a bike for 3 days at 75k per day and didn’t have to fill the tank up to return it.

Homely stay in a perfect location

Tahir is an amazing host - he was so friendly, hospitable and great to chat with! He was very helpful and organised all our activities on the island. He also bought coffee to our room every morning! Lina’s villas are in a perfect location, very close to the harbour. All the facilities were great and the beds were very comfortable. I felt very at home here and would recommend this place to anyone coming to Nusa Penida 😊

Good budget option for a few nights

Clean comfortable room & bathroom, AC works well, and the host is really friendly! We were offered the most delicious papaya and banana in the morning, superb! Location is good as it’s just a few min from the harbour. Great budget option!

ideal and great value for money

The room was very comfortable - hot shower, comfy bed, good air conditioning, nice balcony to chill out on. What really made this stay was the owner Tahir, he organised a driver for us for a great price, gave us lifts to the port, and brought us coffee in the morning. The location is also ideal as it is right in the town centre and near to lots of nice cafe and resturant. We had a great stay.
