Lovely!

Wonderful family stay at Villa Kalina – highly recommended! We stayed at Villa Kalina for three nights in week 42 of 2025, and what a lovely experience it was! We had booked easily via Booking.com, and although it took us a little while to find the location with our rental car, once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious villa, fully equipped with everything a family could need. We were warmly welcomed and given a tour by the owner, Mr. Slavco, who made us feel right at home. The villa turned out to be a perfect base for exploring the beautiful surroundings. Each morning we enjoyed the breathtaking view over Lake Ohrid — truly a sight to remember! For a delicious breakfast, brunch, or dinner, you can simply visit the restaurant next door — super convenient! On our second-to-last evening, we were surprised by three bags of freshly prepared food, including a whole roasted chicken, kindly brought by our host. It was absolutely delicious — thank you so much, Mr. Slavco! We, along with our three children (aged 2, 6, and 10), had a wonderful time and would love to return if we visit North Macedonia again in the future. Thank you very much, Villa Kalina! Simply exceptional!

Everything was great! The location, the view, the facilities just wonderful. The house is very comfortable and the garden is very equipped if you are coming with kids. The hosts are great, they made sure every little detail is taken care for. We would definitely come back

An unforgettable experience in a truly wonderful villa

The view out onto the lake was incredible. The use of the, fairly, private beach was also a real treat.

Communication regarding payment for our stay. It would have been much easier for us to pay in euros on arrival having withdrawn in the UK, but we weren’t aware that this was an option.

Unique finding

Villa Kalina is a picturesque Villa built facing lake Ohrid. The view is fantastic and the Villa is more than 150m2 with two balconies and 2 patios. It has all the facilities needed including a dispenser with mineral water. This is a unique finding. Highly recommended for families. It is 15 minutes driving from Odrid, 7 minutes from the Bay of Bones and 30 minutes from the monastery of St Naum. Thank you Slavco for everything.

Exceptional

Wonderful place, absolutely corresponds with its pictures. The house is completed with everything and more . The bed was very comfortable and we also enjoyed the furniture and beautiful flowers outside . You can cook yourself - there are several supermarkets, close by car, or restaurants . The housts were very hospitable and friendly , they satisfied every request. The only one upsetting thing - we spent there only 4 days.

A welcome we did not expect

Katerina and Slavco, our hosts provided us with a beautiful vacation, from arrival (and due to traffic we arrived earlier than agreed and it was not a problem) until departure, they unobtrusively took care of us and shared useful tips. The position of the house is excellent. 20 minutes from the center of Ohrid and 30 minutes from the monastery of St. Naum, above the road, with two terraces and two pavilions (we called them day and night pavilion), the house is just to sleep. No night clubs and "city" crowds, and with car you can reach shops and restaurants in 4 minutes. Although food can be prepared at home on a "normal" kitchenware. The small beach is across the house below the road, with a small pebbels the beginning and further on the sand. And nearby there are beaches with cafes.

Lovely house with excellent location. The lake view is very nice to wake up to. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We received a very warm welcome at Villa Kalina and Slavcho did everything he could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

An awesome staying, seriously. Highly recommended!

Wa was there in group of 9 friends. Everything was amaizing. Seriously. It's wonderfull, big house with nice kitchen, 2 bathrooms and lovely living room with big TV, music equipment, fireplace and the best lake view we've ever seen! There was also 3 bedrooms with new, comfortable beds. Worth to add, that in every place in a house was very good Internet (Wi-Fi) Thank you Slavco once again :)

Beautiful lake view, peaceful cozy house

The location was perfect (if you have a car) the scenery was outstanding. The host was very helpful, they are really nice people

We were a big group (9people) so sometimes the one bathroom wasn't enough, and we had to be really quick to have enough hot water for everyone... It's a little bit hard to find the place on Google map, the address can be a little bit precise.

Вилата е на склон с прекрасен изглед към езерото. Има огромна есекидневна с панорамен изглед към езерото. Прекрасно обзаведена тераса, също с панорама на езерото. Много чисто, подредено с вкус до най малките подробности! Собственикът е много отзивчив, винаги усмихнат. Препоръчвам. Ще останете очаровани. Снимките са от терасата.

Piękna willa - na dole trzy sypialnie. Na górze wspaniały przestronny salon z wygodną kanapą przy panoramicznym oknie, gdzie każdego wieczoru można podziwiać zachody słońca nad Jeziorem Ohrydzkim. Jadalnia z dużym stołem. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Przepiękny ogród z miejscami do wypoczynku, grillowania. Ekstra miejsce do relaksu. Parking przed willa. Plaża z wygodnym zejściem do jeziora. Woda krystalicznie czysta. Autem kilkanaście minut do Ohrydy (polecam miejscowy targ).
