Amazing stay in Ohrid

We had an amazing time staying at this lovely apartment just a short walk from Ohrid’s city centre, restaurants, shops, and the main beach. The location couldn’t be better – everything we needed was within easy reach. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with all the essentials, including toiletries, fresh towels, and reliable WiFi. Having access to a private garage was a bonus in such a central area! Our hosts were wonderful – warm, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything. They made us feel incredibly well looked after throughout our stay. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ohrid.

Great modern, quiter spot for a couple or family, 5min walk to centre or to the lake.

Our hosts Svetlana and Aleksander were flexible with the timing, very friendly, explained everything, checked us in and out. The apartment looks spotless, is a new building, with elevator, very clean, very modern. Underground parking was a plus, very safe. It is a few hundred meters from the city centre, more quiet, with parks and green trees around. Really loved the place and our morning coffee on the balcony. We had a kitchenette and all was spotless.

Good place to stay at reasonable prices and close to all attractions.

Location of the property is excellent. It’s so close to all the tourists attractions. The place was very clean and tidy. If you are staying more then one night my advice is to buy coffee, milk and any breakfast items to save money. The unit had all the cooking appliances.

The room that we had our bed was close to the wall that made it had to get in and out. The bed was comfortable and all the bedding was fine.

The apartment is in one of the most sought after locations, great lake view and short walking distance to the lake and all the great Ohrid restaurants. The hosts were very welcoming and accomodating. Definitely recommend Matjan apartments.

The apartment was incredibly clean and spacious. We were able to have 3 couples (6 people) in the apartment very comfortably. Very nice balconies. Extremely helpful parking garage that was clean, safe, and free.

Lovely peaceful and centrally located apartment - Amazing hosts.

The property was clean, modern, comfortable and close to the lake front and central entertainment part of Ohrid. The apartment block is new with a nice view over the work and lake. It is very quiet with minimal noise form outside, being 500 meters from the lake front, so convenient for touristy things and peaceful to rest and relax well. Parking was excellent, underground, secure and clean for the car. WIFI was strong, we managed to stream Netflix and UK TV no problem with our Fire stick. When we come back to Ohrid, we will 100% book here again.

Izuzetno uredan i čist apartman. Garažno mesto u samom objektu dodatno olakšava boravak. Lokacija je odlična za razgledanje grada i okoline. Izuzetno ljubazni i predusretljivi domaćini. Svaka preporuka.

Nije neka bitna zamerka, ali dodatno bi ulepšalo utisak da u apartmanu postoji aparat za kafu i kapsula kafe ili neka kesica čaja. Postoji kafić u neposrednoj blizini, ali je ipak lepo da ujutro popijete kafu na terasi bez izlaska iz sobe.

Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Das Apartment war sehr schön und sauber. Es gibt alles, was man braucht oder brauchen könnte. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, im Bad gibt es Duschgel, Zahnbürste etc. Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt an der Strandpromenade, wenige Minuten in die Altstadt und zur Burg. Die Besitzer sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit - weit über alles hinausgehend, was man erwarten oder erhoffen kann!! Ich hatte ein Problem mit dem Auto. Der Besitzer des Apartments und sein Vater setzten alle Hebel in Bewegung, dass es fachgerecht repariert werden konnte und ich meine Reise sicher fortsetzen konnte! Sie fuhren mit mir zur Werkstatt, verhandelten und übersetzten und ließen mich nicht einmal das Taxi bezahlen! Zum Abschied gab es sogar dann noch ein kleines Dankeschön-Geschenk! Vielen ❤️lichen Dank!!!! Sollte ich wieder einmal nach Ohrid kommen, werde ich sicher wieder hierher kommen!
