Great location

The room was was lovely with a great view. The bed was excellent and very comfortable. The diffrence between a great hotel and an ordinary one is the little touches - the toilet paper folded back, tissues, proper glasses in the bathroom, coffee pods instead of instant etc. Complimentary gin too! Very aware that during high season we would probably not be to afford to stay there. A real treat for us.

I stayed at the Harbour Hotel & Spa Southampton and had a very pleasant experience. The room was modern, spacious, and extremely clean. I am very knowledgeable about cleanliness, and the standard of the room was excellent. The bed was comfortable and ensured a good night’s sleep. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a long day. The view of the marina was a lovely bonus and added to the overall comfort. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The staff were polite, professional, and helpful whenever needed. I did not visit the restaurant or the spa during my stay. Overall, the hotel left a very positive impression, and I would be happy to return in the future.

Great location and surrounded by some exceptional boats and yachts. Rooms are lovely and the high beds truly comfortable. Without exception, every member of staff was pleasant, helpful, and professional. My go to hotel in Southampton.

The room was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable - the bed was HUGE. Great shower and good facilities for tea and coffee, great view over the harbour. The SPA itself (where you have the massage) was a delight - dressing gowns too small though - lots of people walking around with them half open! The decor of both restaurants is beautiful and the atmosphere in The Jetty was perfect (would recommend) Restaurant, Reception and bar staff mostly friendly and helpful and the dinner was delicious (lunch a bit overcooked).

The Harbour bar and restaurant was really noisy and busy, the music got louder as the day went on so conversation was difficult. We had lunch and dinner and service was slow - we had to wait an hour for a food menu at dinner to the point where we got and asked in the end. The pool area is small for the size of hotel which meant wer hovering over beds etc and the entire time we were using the Spa facilities there were cleaners mopping floors and / or using noisy equipment, they were also a bit abrupt. Car park is convenient but expensive.

Fabulous hotel, extremely comfortable, lovely restaurants, nice spa, delightful staff (everyone, without exception). Perfect for a weekend away.

Very basic new construction hotel reminscent of an IKEA store

Dreadful cold place with intermitent heating which was very poor. Room amenities are very basic even in higher grades. Give it a miss.

The general ambience of the hotel. The staff were welcoming and the room and facilities good.

We found the food in the Jetty to be disappointing. Tasteless, unappetising and cold.

Room very clean and tidy, if a little small. That was our fault as we had a cozy double with a balcony which was perfect with the weather. Hotel immaculately clean and beautifully furnished.

We thought considering the hotel was relatively quiet, service for breakfast and dinner was very slow. Staff on reception a little hit and miss. Our key card kept refusing to work, and it was inferred it was our fault. Overall, a really nice place to stay, but not quite the 5 star service we would have expected

Lovely stay! The room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed. Breakfast was nice, and the harbour views in the morning were stunning—watching the sunrise was wonderful. Everything was lovely, and I’d definitely come back!

Reception staff were excellent. Phoned ahead to see if there was any chance of a check-in earlier than 3pm and was told they would see what they can do. Arrived at 1.45pm and found the room was indeed ready for me. Very friendly and competent check-in.

Visit to the Jetty restaurant a bit disappointing regarding the food. Fish specials rather bland although manager excellent in sorting out some issues. Hotel itself was excellent although couldn’t get in main bar as fully booked for a function

Staff were brilliant, great little spa and then harbar on 6th is just a great gig on a Saturday night. This is a top class hotel, if it was London, it would be £600+ a night. Always impressed with this group.

It was beautiful, lovely location, felt very luxurious, I felt safe and comfortable, food was gorgeous. I used the gym and spa, had dinner and breakfast. Would definitely return.

Hotel is located in a very picturesque area at Ocean Village. Lovely views of the harbour and views of cruise ships and other luxury yachts. Beautiful Spa close by hotel using Elemis products. Did not have time to use.

Our booking was for a standard room and were delighted to receive a room which overlooked the marina with 3 windows viewing. Unfortunately the room was 26deg owing to the 3 windows and sun had been shining in most of the day. A gentleman named Stephan advised how to work the aircon however he could not adjust it as it did not work and advised he would reset and come back. My wife and I both tried to work the aircon and were getting very uncomfortable with the heat and after approx 1 hour decided to leave the bedroom door open to try to cool the room. Unfortunately Stephan did not reappear - he also advised if we needed to contact reception owing to an outage of power with phones we needed to do so via our mobile devices. We gave up on Stephan after approx 1-1 half hours. My wife went to Reception and spoke with a gentleman who apologised and gave us another room - he advised it was a much superior room so we decided to move ourselves. At this stage we were feeling a bit let down as we did not expect the service we had received so far from a 5 star rating hotel. The upgraded room looked the same except for Binoculars, double sinks and a bath/shower in the bathroom (view not as good) and even though the bath was going to be a bit of a struggle for my wife we decided to stay as the room was a comfortable temperature and and we did not want to move again . We had a very comfortable night on the exceptionally comfortable bed. I was aware the hotel offered a *turn down*service but this did not happen for us. We had a full breakfast which was excellent and compliments to Ana of 6th who was very hospitable as were her staff. On leaving we did speak with Alesia Segen at Reception with these details. We were so looking forward to our stay, however all of the above took the shine away from our stay.
