The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. We arrived very late but they wait for us and help us check in. Beautiful property, it’s old but it’s unique. Amazing view from the balcony. Great breakfast.

Lovely bed&breakfast in Heiligenblut

We had a lovely stay at Villa Brandstätter. The owners themselves were not there, but the female host was very friendly and made sure we got everything we needed. The breakfast was great with fresh eggs every morning. The room was also fine with nice soft towels.

The bathroom was very small, however it was not a problem for us since we didn't miss anything. We stayed for 3 nights, but there was not a lot to do in the area, especially since the weather wasn't great either.

I left a happier, healthier, calmer, more content person than when I arrived.

The breakfast was spectacular. Rupert supplied everything you could possibly want, including eggs laid only ten minutes ago. The view was ideal--the village's 500-year old church on one side and Austria's highest peak on the other side. Nothing obstructed our view of either.

Nice hosts, quiet location, perfect for Grossglockner trip.

If you like a perfect quiet place, charming historic old style, you'll be happy here. It's a perfect retreat for a couple seeking a quiet location close to the center of the town and appreciating homely retreat for rest. Landowners are very friendly and you can feel a familiar touch to the place. Breakfast is a pleasure, own eggs, especially on the terrace in fine weather. It's a perfect stay for modest folks not seeking luxury.

It's a historic establishment, which we appreciated. Beds are a bit outworn, but that's a part of the charm. If you're on a hiking trip, this will be a quiet treat.

The location is good. The rooms were comfortable. The building has lots of Austrian charm. When the people responded to us by email they were always very nice.

I had 2 people from our group who could not stay at this facility. I contacted the facility twice to see if they could pay to eat breakfast with the group. They responded yes. They didn't end eating with us because we felt rushed at breakfast. They ended up eating at the national park tourist center which was amazing. You must carry your bags up to your room. That was only a problem for one person in our group who was on the second or third floor.

The rooms were cozy, with an excellent view of the Grossglockner. A great breakfast was served every morning in a timely manner. The location is central to the rest of town and allows easy access to the surrounding stores, restaurants and mountain scenery. Maria, Rupert and Nadine were all extremely kind and attentive; I would recommend this place to anyone passing through Hieligenblut!

Lovely stay at a wonderful place

Great hosts giving the extra mile to truly welcome me at the place. Very clean, nice atmosphere and a wonderful breakfast. Even some extra service I needed for my hiking was no problem. I would definitely come again

Great location with a nice view from the room and balcony. Breakfast was nice.

There were not so many parking spaces. When we arrived the owners were not there, so it took a while before we could go inside. The bed was really noisy. Every time you turn it makes much noise.

I liked the warm welcome by the host, I will not forget the very nice round of Schnaps we had the second night as the first night I was arriving very late. - The building was a true gem and I liked the cozy historic wooden building from times long gone by and the lovely room decoration as well as the balcony view over the valley - The breakfast was great, I loved the homemade jams and the elderberry syrup drink. I even was offered eggs from the chicken in the garden. - The location is prime - The host's partner was very helpful when it seemed I had lost my wallet (fortunately later it turned out I didn't), really appreciated your willingness to help me the best way you could and sorry once more for this "false alarm".

Very cute alpine pension with stunning views of the Alps

The location is great because only a 11 min drive to the start of the Grosglockner High Alpine Road mountain pass and just a 7 min walk to the centre of Heiligenblut which is a cute alpine village. We had breakfast on the terrace with views on the Alps and the Grosglockner peak can be seen on a clear day! The hosts Rupert and Nadine are very warm and helpful, gave us tips for the area and are alpinists too. We needed to charge our BMW i3 and they let us connect it to a 230V outlet without any costs. Everything you wish for on a holiday in the mountains is here; friendly people, stunning views of great peaks, green meadows with cows and fresh air!j
