Appartements Le Dome - Quartier Cathédrale

This property is in a timewarp building with an amazing entry door, exquisite stairs and lift to the apartment. The apartment is very modern with old beams still visible which give charm and character. The bedrooms were very good size and the top floor bedroom was a wow with an amazing shower. The sauna was an amazing addition which i used in the morning and kick started my day. The kitchen was very small and had very few items for cooking, no tray for oven was especially worrying. With an amazing dining table with seats for 8 and enough wine glasses for more i would recommend a more thought through kitchen. My husband is 6ft 2” so he found it challenging in the kitchen but that is no criticism at all as i am 5ft and found it ok. Amazing view out the windows directly at Notre Dame Cathedral. I absolutely loved the apartment but as i say think more thought needs to go in to kitchen functionality to make this place an exceptional stay. We will never forget our time there with our 3 children and would 100% return. A gem of an apartment with jaw dropping views and exceptional location for viewing beautiful Strasbourg.

The stairs up to the bedroom were difficult to negotiate with luggage and would be impossible for those with limited mobility

We did have to purchase some batteries as most of the remotes did not work… the Sauna did not work either but we were in the middle of a heat wave so we didn’t mind so much.

No shutters, blinds, or curtains in one of the bedrooms! At 5 a.m., you are woken up by daylight
