A hotel with great potential due to its location but with some unpleasant aspects

The location of the hotel is superb, very close to the lake and the old town on the island. The breakfast was acceptable.

The community spaces of the hotel basically guarantee that there is no peace and quiet. If you complain about noisy companies, the staff ignores it and does nothing. The room was small and the ceiling extremely low, giving us claustrophobic feelings. The parking place is OK but difficult to find, explanation by the staff is confusing.

Great place to spend a few days with family!

We loved the location! Rooms were spacious and very clean.

It was hot and there was no AC, no fan. We couldn’t leave our windows open bc we didn’t want bugs to get in. We were street side, so it was a little too noisy to leave windows open.

Very easy to find, just a short walk to the Island of Lindau, nice and clean, quiet, comfy bed, good breakfast. The receptionist Monika was exceptional, we could check in early, she recommended a place for dinner and made reservations for us, very friendly with lots of tips. Property also had a drink ( soft drinks and alcoholic ) machine and a snack vending machine, so nice for late night goodies

Fantastic location, staff and amenities.

Lovely hotel. In fact we decided to stay a second night. Well worth walking the 20 minutes along the coastal path to the Lindau Thermae baths. Amazing.

Everything was very clean and fresh, decorated with a lot of taste, the staff is friendly and made us feel welcome, the breakfast was fresh and tasteful with a lot of variety and the location is good, in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood, just 10mins walking distance from main attractions on the island. Overall, it exceeded our expectations

Price/value - we paid 134eur for 1 night for 2 persons (including parking and environment fee). We visit the Bodensee region quite often and for 1 night it was a bit too much for 3 stars in a region without a great view, outside of main season

Bed mattress sloped towards the outside. Soapy hands unable to restart flow of water in shower because knob too slippery- have to constantly let a bit of water run to rinse off hand… Also, with soapy feet, floor is extremely slippery.

A lovely, clean hotel a nice walk away from the bustle of Lindau Island.

Great location and nice breakfast choices. The room was large with a very small but functional and well-appointed bathroom. It’s a nice walk across the bridge to Lindau Island and back.

The backyard garden was noisy with people holding a party in the rotunda/pergola area early in the morning.

Superb

Good location only a short walk from the island. Parking is paid but there are plenty of spaces which made it easy. Our room was great, everything is new and clean. The breakfast buffet is amazing, lots of choice and not just the standard.

The doors to the hallway aren’t very sound proof. We could hear people on the hallway and opening/closing their doors when going to breakfast. When booking we saw that there is an option to book a quiet room - if you want to have a sleep-in maybe that’s a good option.

The structure was quite modern and I was positively impressed by the quality of our room.

In our 14 days trip to Germany this was also the only hotel that required to be paid days in advance. I received an email saying that if I did not pay in advance my reservation would be cancelled. Once there, I called the staff to ask for directions to the hotel (as there was no access to the road because of public works) and my call was harshly turned down because they were busy checking in other customers. The quality of the brekfast was very low, there were limited options and limited quantities, with people storming the buffet table to grab what they could. Overall I expected much more from this hotel.

Comfortable and clean rooms. Helpful and very nice personnel. Easy access and a parking lot just near the entrance door.

The hotel without AC. In case you prefer cool temperature in your room during hot summer nights, there is a problem with opening windows as small mosquitos will enter your room.
