The location was very good. The stay could have been much better with air conditioning and internet

Location was excellent as it was near restaurants, public transport ( boats, buses and trains). The room sizes were good. It was generally well equipped

More stairs to climb than anticipated as on second floor. There was no air conditioning ( apart from ceiling fans) which meant the apartment was uncomfortably hot. The beds were uncomfortably and the bed linen was made of polyester which was not what you need in an overheated apartment. The promised internet was vertically non existent. The lack of a functioning internet connection was detrimental to the holiday as we could not find essential local information. A washing machine would be useful.

A very comfortable place to stay.

Centrally located in Stresa, across the street from the supermarket and near the lake. Very spacious even for a family of 4 with grown kids. Great balcony. Some street noise, but less than if it was on a piazza or over a restaurant.

The kitchen cabinets are very loud to close and some room doors were hard to close and latch. However these were minor points.

Very Noisy

Lovley apartment. Very Central.

Extremely noisy from 5 to 7 am. Lorries coming and going and unloading at Carrefour which is opposite bedroom window. Really spoilt our stay.

Live like local in the center of Stresa

The apartment is really well equipped even for a longer stay. And if something small (e.g. toilet paper) is missing, you can buy it in the supermarket in front of the house. Pleasant design, lots of light and a nice large balcony with a bit of view on the lake. Central location and flexibility of the hosting company is certainly something to value. It is also safe (we left all our luggage near the entrance door downstairs after check-out and the stroller for the baby was parked there every night).

I knew it was an old building, so we expected some noise. The windows are not soundproof, so you hear every person passing by. It also took about couple of days for our baby to get used to creaky parquet floor and noisy doors. I also think that the water in the shower could be a bit warmer but it was ok for other family members. There was a misunderstanding with the check-out time, which was different in the booking and what the cleaning person was communicated. So she had to wait for us for an hour and we were a bit stressed at the end to empty the property. Fortunately she was patient as an angel!
