Our stay at Family Apartment Vista Lago was really wonderful. The apartment is very comfortable, beautifully decorated and perfectly located in the centre of Stresa. It is close to many excellent restaurants and independent shops, a short walk from the main ferry terminal, and has the bonus of being opposite a Carrefour supermarket. Although located in the middle of Stresa it is very quiet and peaceful, especially as the bedrooms are located at the back of the property. The apartment was spotlessly clean, all the rooms are a good size, light and airy with plenty of storage space. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking simple meals. There are views from the two balconies, equipped with two chairs and a table and a bench, up to a forested hill, and down Via Roma. They were perfect for sitting with a drink and some snacks in the evening watching the world go by below. There are views over to the Alps and Lago Maggiore from the bedrooms. Patrizia is a fantastic host regularly keeping in touch to check if there was anything we needed, and also provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and excursions. We'd happily stay in Family Apartment Vista Lago again and would have no hesitation recommending it to family and friends.

Spacious, clean and comfortable apartment in a great location with breathtaking views.

Loved this apartment! It was spacious, clean and comfortable. I'm 5'5" and slept very well on the smaller room's bed. The views from all 3 balconies are spectacular. The location could not be beat, right in the heart of pedestrian only old town but very quiet at night. Having all appliances (and cooking basics) you could possibly need to cook and make coffee and a grocery store across the walkway made the place feel like home. Our host was very attentive, kind and helpful. I would stay here again for sure!

Hated to leave!

The Apartment was exceptional! Everything about our stay was perfect. We couldn't have been happier with the location! Carrefour Market immediately across the street but not a noisy area overall. We stayed in some days for breakfast, one night for dinner too. Wine, cheese, bakeries all nearby with walking distance! The apartment is spacious, easy access with the use of an elevator, security at the front door of the building, room darkening shutters on every window. Three small balconies with stunning views! Laundry! Hostess Patriza made sure we had information about the local restaurants, activities and attractions. She checked in via text every day to be sure we needed nothing! We hope we'll have a chance to return to Stresa one day! But only if Family Apartment Vista Lago is available!!

This apartment is beautiful with all equipment you need. Perfect location in Stresa with restaurants and shops. Convenient store across the road. We lved all about this apartment. If you go to Stresa we highly recommend this apartment. Clean, spasious and delicate. We highly recommend it and would like to come back. Patrizia is the best host with lots of good recommondations.

Very nice apartment

Patrizia was so friendly. She checked in every day to make sure we had all we needed. The apartment was large. Decent amount of cooking utensils and pots and pans. The master bedroom was furnished nicely,comfortable king bed. The 2nd bedroom was meant for kids. it had trundle beds so the apartment would not work too well for 4 adults. You could sleep one in the kids room and one on the couch if you so desired. Kids room was cool.Check out the stars and planets on the wall.They glow at night. Location great . Easy walk to the lake.Very quiet at night. The apartment had several balconies all with partial lake views if you looked across the other buildings. Did not use AC but there is a unit in each bedroom and the living room.

Location was excellent and the apartment was spacious and clean. Supermarket across the street and access to ferries around 300m to Lago Maggiore. Lift access to the apartment was handy when travelling with suitcases. There was a plethora of eating places within a few minutes walk. Patrizia was an outstanding host. She made sure we were comfortable and even offered to drive us to the train station & giving us some Stresa biscuits for our onward journey.

Maybe an extra pair of clean towels.

Wonderful host, perfect location in the heart of Sirmione.

Location was right in the centre of town but amazingly quiet at night. Very spacious modern apartment, immaculately clean and so well equipped. The owner, Patrizia was so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us, giving us advice and information when needed. We found a free parking space just round the corner from apartment so you can park up and walk everywhere.

Patrizia’s apartment in Stresa is perfectly located in the centre of town - within minutes of walking from the cafes, bars and restaurants and shops. It is only a short walk to the beautiful lakeside for swimming, walking or enjoying drinks and food with a lakeside view. The apartment has everything you’ll need in it and is very comfortable. Patricia is a super attentive host and gave us great recommendations for dinner and activities. We really enjoyed our stay in Stresa and would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you!

Location is in a very centre of the town, the apartment is spacious, cozy and so comfortable, has also a good design. Everything in the apartment is well thought to details. The attitude of the owners was just amazing. Patrizia is so hospitable and pleasant:) We were given loads of useful tips about Stesa (restaurants, sights etc.) In conclusion: the best appartment I have ever booked before:)

Welcoming host, spacious and clean apartment at reasonable price

Location - just 3 minute walk to the ferry pier and opposite to the Carrefour supermarket. Excellent location Room - it’s very spacious even for a family. With a living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and two balcony. The view from the balcony is a gorgeous lookout at this hidden jewel of Italy, Stresa. Host - the host Patrizia is so welcoming, the best (not one of) host I have even seen. She gave a warm welcome at the doorstep and showed me a room tour. She has also recommended some nice restaurants and to-dos around Stresa. Price - it’s very reasonable and worth every penny when compared to the other hotels in the region. If I can choose again, I will stay in this apartment! Highly recommended

We REALLY loved this place - one of the best accommodations we've had in Italy! A stylish, spacious and VERY clean apartment with three balconies in two directions with lovely views on the rooftops, the (quiet = no noise in the evenings) street below and one towards the hills with a peek of the lake. The apartment was perfectly equipped & we had everything we needed. There's a dishwasher, microwave, espresso machine, washing machine, iron & board etc. A grocery store (open every day of the week from morning till 8 pm) is in the opposite building. There are plenty of lovely restaurants very close to the apartment as the apartment is in the town center. We had our car in the garage (extra fee) just a few steps away from the apartment which was really convenient for any day-trips with the car (in Stresa you don't really need a car but we visited the Mottarone mountain nearby and the beautiful small town of Orta San Giulio on Lake Orta). It was easy to stay in contact with super friendly host Patrizia who also provided us with lots of information about nearby restaurants and places to visit. We hope to be back one day!

The Best Place to Stay In Stresa

My husband and I loved everything about the apartment. It was very spacious and beautifully furnished with a first class kitchen including a dishwasher and large refrigerator with freezer. Everything was spotless. The comfortable living room had a new sofa, chair and coffee table and Netflix TV. The bedroom was large with a LOT of storage. I emptied my suitcases so I could access everything. The mattress was extremely comfortable, even with my arthritis. There were two nice little balconies to sit in the sun. The photos don’t do the apartment justice. The location was perfect because it was a two minute walk to two open squares and many restaurants and only a six minute walk to the ferry dock and it was level. We easily visited Isola Bella and Isola Madre as well as Santa Caterina Hermitage. Don’t miss especially Isola Bella. All of them were worth the quick ferry rides though. The apartment is directly across the street from the grocery store and just 50 feet away from a very nice self laundromat. Patrizia was a wonderful host and helped me whenever I had a question. She was very attentive! I would recommend the apartment to all my friends or anyone who wants to visit beautiful Lake Maggiore.

Besser geht es nicht. Das Appartement ist groß mit 3 Balkone und mit allem ausgestattet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Es ist viel mehr vorhanden als gewöhnlich. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, die Lage ist ruhig und sehr zentral. Und es gibt die Möglichkeit einer Garage. Patrizia ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin. Immer erreichbar, gibt gute Tipps. So eine tolle Gastgeberin hatten wir noch nie. Auch Check in und out sehr unkompliziert. Man bekommt alle Infos gut erklärt mit Foto zugeschickt. Und stresa ist natürlich ein Traum. Wenn Stresa, dann nur bei Patrizia. Grazie Mille Liebe Patrizia
