The highlight of our visit was the private outdoor bath. Relaxing in the onsen while watching fireflies in the evening and spotting deer in the surrounding nature in the morning was a magical experience that we will remember for a long time. We also thoroughly enjoyed the kaiseki dinner. Every course was beautifully presented, carefully prepared, and showcased the flavors of the region. What made our stay especially special was the owner. The warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality we received made us feel truly welcome.
A bit far from the Onsen village of Kurokawa, but it was definitely an advantage for us.
