Service and facilities were 5 star -there were multiple private and public onsens
outside of your room that can be used 24/7. Service was impeccable. They asked for arrival time and mode, sent a minibus to pick up from the bus stop. There was careful and detailed guide through the facilities to share on the different onsens available. We were shown our room and detailed were given on how they will set up our room when we have our meals. I loved the surprise of being able to star gaze at night. Hosts were knowledgable and even took the trouble to translate to language that I understand. I opt for both breakfast and dinner and the food was a feast to both eyes and stomach. The attention we received and the hospitality of all staff, just to make sure we are comfortable made me feel so at home. Thank you !

We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautifully nestled in nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Both the public and private onsen were exceptional, clean, well maintained, and truly enjoyable. The kaiseki dinner was excelent, with beautifully presented dishes and excellent quality ingredients.
The staff is incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. Their hospitality and attention to detail made our experience even more special.
We highly recommend this ryokan to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable Japanese onsen experience. Since the ryokan is surrounded by nature, guests should expect to encounter mosquitoes, especially in the evening. However, this is simply part of staying in such a beautiful natural setting and did not detract from our experience.
If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be to offer a little more choice on the children’s menu. That said, this is only a minor suggestion and certainly did not affect our overall impression.
We highly recommend this ryokan to anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful, and memorable Japanese onsen experience.

the place is cozy, not a lot of people, but yet you feel the hospitality from the resort owner.
The weather wasn't good, so we missed the star gazing.
