Gekkoju Kurokawa

Le ryokan était magnifique. L’accueil réservé à nos enfants nous a beaucoup touché (sièges adaptés, vaisselle pour enfants, trousse de toilette bébé, baignoire bébé, poubelle à couches, etc.).

The service of our bulter - Kata is superb. Injouse private hotspring in room with special hotspring to reserve is a bonus. what we did not expect is the in room Dining room which we can even grill our meat there!

Unforgettable experience from start to finish. Location, Food, Onsen and Staff. Kurokawa known for their onsens. The location of this hotel is fairly separated from other Ryokans and onsens. Close to nature. Our room was the Yoimachi. Every meal between breakfast and lunch were exceptional. The chefs clearly take pride in their creations. Dinner were about 7 course meals. Food kept coming and coming. Gekkoju offers 2 unique public onsens that requires booking on arrival. 1 is a cave onsen: you step inside a stone chamber with overflowing thickness of moisture and minerals. The other is a sky onsen: the highest level in the whole of Gekkoju, great view (must be during the day). Aside from Gekkoju’s public onsens, each villa provided an indoor bath and outdoor onsen bath. Our villa at the Yoimachi had one of the best views! The hospitality at Gekkoju is truly top-notch, making you feel like a VIP the moment you step inside their property. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The staff genuinely care about providing a memorable experience. Kavika (unsure if spelt correctly) were one of the many amazing staff that truly made the stay extraordinary.
