Hôtel du Petit Louvre

Conveniently located in Nice downtown

The hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance from Tram Line 2 Jean Medicin and Nice Ville train stations. The hotel sent me good information on its location and how to get in, and also included a video. For a small hotel, it was nice to see an elevator. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The bathroom had a hot water kettle, some utensils, and a hair dryer. The room had a folding table attached to the wall and a small stool. The lighting was good.

The room was way too tiny, and couldn't even open a small suitcase fully. The TV didn't work, and the A/C unit only output heat. I wished there was another pillow on the bed. There was no real closet to put my suitcase. There was a lot of noise in the hallway at night by other guests in the adjacent rooms, which disturbed my sleep.

The room was very close to the historic center, perfect for those who'd use it only for showering and sleeping. It was equipped with every convenience, from coffee maker to hair dryer to a/c

Unless you're expecting a luxury suite, I don't think it has any major flaws

Ideal location, right in the centre and great connections to trains/trams, easy to get to from airport. Good value for money for the studio. Nice shower, liked the overhead waterfall shower. Having a fridge was good. Check-in member of staff was lovely and helpful.

The bed wasn’t that comfortable, the blanket was a bit rough and not cuddly at all, and there was just one pillow on a double bed which sank in so my sleep wasn’t great, my head was basically flat on the mattress. Fine for one night. Also guests coming in during the night were noisy and kept turning on the hall light which would light up my room.
