    The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location, which is very convenient for exploring Nice and accessing restaurants, shops, and the beach. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. There is a major construction site immediately next to the hotel, literally just behind the wall, resulting in significant noise and disturbance throughout the day. This was not adequately communicated at the time of booking and severely impacted our stay. In addition, the reservation process was poorly managed, with mistakes made regarding guest names, creating unnecessary confusion upon arrival. The condition of the room was also below expectations. We noticed signs of mould, some furniture was damaged or broken, and the overall level of cleanliness was not satisfactory. For a hotel in this category, basic maintenance and housekeeping standards should be much higher. Given the combination of construction noise, booking issues, poor room condition, and cleanliness concerns, I would not choose this hotel again. The excellent location is unfortunately not enough to compensate for the numerous shortcomings.

    Room was not cleaned when we arrived. We entered the room, after being assigned, with the trash can full, cups not cleaned, bed with hair and towels still hanging loosely in the toilet. The reception tried to make compensation by assigning us a separate hotel room 10 minutes walk away. Still, this disrupted our plans as we still have to check out and check into this hotel the next day when we had a day tour. After check in, I was bitten by bugs and still felt that the bed is dirty. I cannot get a comfortable sleep. Had to wear slippers in the room as the carpet was disgusting to walk on. The only thing good about this hotel is its location. I do not recommend.

    Due to an unfortunate situation I needed a hotel last minute and chose the Hotel Le Seize. The hotel is in a supreme location, that is about it. The room was not great. Daily cleaning was minimal at best. The towels were very rough and smelled like mildew. There is massive construction next door including jack hammering. There was zero sound barrier. Very very loud, banging sounds, doors slamming etc. I would not return even with the location plus.

    Room was very old dirty, bathroom was molded, it looks new and fresh on the photos but it’s worse than a motel. I mean it’s good for the price and location but the actual bed the room you don’t really feel safe in.
