    Hotel Saint Gothard has a perfect location near the Nice train station, so it is a perfect base for going on field trips. Also, you need around 20 minutes walk to Promenade des Anglais, so for me is a nice walk. Everything is clean, the bed is comfortable. Check in and out also went smoothly. I definitely recommend it to future travelers.

    Great budget hotel - close to station. Close to food, supermarkets etc. walkable to the sea. Power cut and subsequent multiple change of rooms could have gone better. Compensation of complementary breakfasts could have been improved on.

    My only complaint, we booked with breakfast included. Confirmed when we arrived and had to check in with our room # when we had breakfast. When we checked out front desk asked us to pay an additional 72 Euro. We were on a tight schedule to catch our train to Paris, so finally we agreed to pay 60 euros, just so we could leave. Unfortunately this was a mix up somewhere in the booking , but it was stressful, plus i did feel if the same front desk clerk was there when we checked in it would have been resolved on a better note.
