well appointed rooms, modern n gd wifi...front beach area was excellent. Breakfast choices limited and repeated items. Restaurant needs to improve in selection of items offered. catch of the day very pricey, beware.

hotel: rooms are nice and cleaned every day, staff is friendly and helpful (special thanks to lovely rosa who cleaned the room). the bed was super comfortable, the view is spectacular (Id say in any floor you stay). you have two hotel options to choose according to your needs/preferences: mucobega 1 doesn’t have a lift but 2 has. the first is right in front of the beach while the second is just a few steps away (but has the pool). guests from both hotels have access to the pool and beach and no extra charge for umbrellas and sunbeds. beach/bar/restaurant: the beach is absolutely gorgeous/crystal clear water/amazing view. its a family friendly place, great service at the bar (drinks are good, snack service is the same and everything can be served to you at the beach). the food at the restaurant is delicious too! breakfast is not super fancy but also good! the experience was amazing. not to packed anymore in september (but still hot in albania if youre looking for real summer weather like we were, its perfect) which was obviously really nice since we didn’t have to worry about finding free spaces at the beach or anything. place was quiet since location is a bit far out of the main centre area of saranda (10 minutes by car).

The entire staff was very friendly. Breakfast was really good. The beach is small but very clean.

There was too many kids on the beach. In order to relax and not hear them scream all the time we took the sunbeds in the last row. The bathroom smelled horrible during our entire stay. I think the smell was coming from the drain. The toilet on the beach was very dirty.

The staff was great. Very communicative and cheerful. Made our stay brilliant. The rooms were very clean. Everybody accomodated every our request. We have a small child and everybody made our stay wonderful. Will definitely return.

Very good

The location of the hotel was excellent with its own little private beach and great sunset views. The hotel staff was very helpful and attentive. It was a little far from the center of the city, but the peace and quite made up for it. Since we had our own rental car, it was easy to go to the city center. Since we went in late May, the water was still cold, we did not swim in the sea. Yet, it was perfect to relax on the lounge chairs of the beach, sipping on wine and hot chocolate while watching the sunset.

Perfect place!

Perfect position on the beach. Staff were so friendly and so helpful. Good and plentiful breakfast. Room had a beautiful outlook onto a Caribbean looking beach. At night all the beach was lit up with subtle blue & green lights...looked amazing!

Great Beach Access, old rooms, but comfortable overall

Direct beach access, no additional costs for beach entrance etc. Great coffee at the beach bar. Staff was friendly, but not very competent and not a lot of English knowledge.

Breakfast not suitable for vegans, coffee is terrible. Staff promises were not kept (check in on first floor, promised a move to higher floor on the next day, but this could never be confirmed and never happened). please do not promise things that will not happen. Housekeeping did not happen on a daily basis.

The first night we received triple room while our reservation was for quadruple room. At check out we paid, then next day they changed the price & wanted us to pay more

We enjoyed relaxing on the sun beds and playing in the clean, clear water

Our room was cleaned every day. The bartender made good drinks and clearly took pride in his work. The beach was nice and we were able to secure a lounger every day.

The staff was unable to communicate with us in a variety of situations. Securing a taxi to the ferry was a four hour affair, and when the taxi wasn’t there on time the staff had no ideas or thoughts to call and confirm. Instead of trying to find a way to communicate with us, many staff simply turned and walked away from us, leaving us unsure of our next step.

All in all, worth of money.

Breakfast was bit strange, no buffet, but it was understandable because there was not so many quests. Reception was really helpfull and frienly. Bit side from center and the beach is just stones and that was actualy the only negative point.

Male waiters on the beech were not very active to observe needs of customers.

Superb

Nice newer hotel, excellent friendly and helpful staff, free parking, you can even wash your car. You have free sunbeds on beach in front of hotel and you can use swimming pool of Mucobega 2 hotel, whichnis next to 1. There is very nice beach bar, they organise nice traditional evenings on the beach which were very original and nice. Room is nice, with nice sea view, very very clean, every day they change towels and clean the floor.

Breakfast is nice, quantity is good but should be improved for 4* hotel, example: more salads, there is no mustard for sausages ( you can buy and bring from market heh)...
