Cute cottage close to everything

This place was put on my radar by a fellow traveller. And when my plans had to change at the last minute, Yogi and his staff were so welcoming and caring that I felt I was always meant to be there. A great place to chill. Chat if you want, or spend quiet time. The pool was great and it was an easy scooter ride in and then walking distance to Secret Point Beach, the Blue Lagoon or local restos for coffee and surf watching. My cottage was so cute with a little verandah and I could hear the surf at night and birds in the morning.

Authentic stay

Local style cabins, outdoor shower, clean pool. The staff was very friendly, the bed was comfy. The entire hotel is beautiful with lush green plants and flowers everywhere.

Although the outdoor shower is beautiful, it's salt water. The soap/shampoo brand could maybe be improved as well as I didn't feel like I was getting clean per se. Looked more like dishwashing liquid to be honest. Also bear in mind that there are 3-4 restaurants in the surrounding areas but the main beaches/attractions are 20 min scooter ride away. The hotel has its own restaurant/bar but not many people seem to use it.

It's abandoned!!! Don't trust the photos!

This place is abandoned and I like abandoned places.

!The 5* reviews must have been payed! This place is in a worse condition that some abandoned hotels. I have never seen a place where the photos didn't match the reality that much. The staff is only on their phones instead of maintaining this decaying place. Everywhere is rubbish like old broken surfboards, plastic rusty metal, construction materials. The pool is green and Milky and I never saw one even sitting near it. Noone ever removes the fallen leaves. The room was disgusting. Dirty every metal was rusted. The main door didn't close since it was half of their rail. Mosquitos in the room since there are holes everywhere. The kettle was leaking heavy from the bottom. The photos are probably from 10y ago and since then Noone took care of that property. The water is as salty as the sea which we had in no other hotel (we visited over 10 on the islands). No water bottle refill. Pool bar never open ofc. For that money we could have had a lot better hotel. Don't support this and don't book it.

So, I recommend this establishment.

I spent 20 days at this hotel. I really appreciated the respect, kindness, and helpfulness of the staff. I had three rooms and they were all very good, but ask for a room that is a little further from the main street. The reason is that the roosters crow at 4 a.m. and disrupt your sleep. I really appreciated the musical selection in the restaurant.

Great if you’re looking for super basic, camping style accommodation.

Great location. Friendly staff. Has a nice charm. Lots of potential.

The place has so much potential. But there are certain things that can’t be overlooked: When you shower - the entire bathroom gets wet. It’s just not a pleasant experience. The room is tiny, so there is no space for a suitcase. The pool needs a thorough clean. There’s an area in front of the deluxe suites which is just trees, grass, unkept and in need of severe tidying up. Noise. A few in our group were unable to sleep due to the noise of scooters.

Dafish was acceptable and staff were very helpful but borderline value for money for a Bali hotel for the price per nigh

Located in a quiet part of the island. Pool was clean. Room size was good and bedroom was clean. Breakfast was good but juice included was not fresh. Staff were exceptionally helpful in arranging trips and drivers.

First night no hot water. Bathroom was not properly cleaned. Water for showering was salty and could not lather up soap or shampoo. Fridge freezer was iced up so we had to remove ice to shut fridge door. Bed sheet was ripped.

Great stay at The Starfish Ceningan

We had a great time at The Darfish Ceningan. The Family is super friendly and helpful - transport, scooter…thank you Yogi to let us help you with the Penjor:). Nice and quiet garden. The room was equipped with Anti-Mosqito plug. Breakfast was yummy. Just a short walk to the beach, good surf.

Amazing place, except for the smell of sewers.

Amazing staff, really helpful and friendly. The nature around it is breathtaking, Dream Beach, Blue Lagoon and the close Suku Beach Club are incredible.

The huts are nice, but the whole place needs renovation. One of our huts had a super bad smell of sewers. We complained, but rather than fixing the problem, toilet stones were put on the drains. This caused our bedroom to smell of a mix of disgusting sewers and aggressive toilet stone. I trust they will fix this problem. When fixed, this place would be amazing!

Really nice staff

Such lovely staff who helped us organise transport to and from the yellow bridge, bikes and snorkelling trips. The location is only a few mins from the beach, restaurants and a beach club.

The rooms were quite small. There were a lot of mosquitoes in our room the first day but the staff were happy to spray the room once we were out for the day.

Perfect stay to explore Nusa Ceningan & Lembongan!

Great location only a few minutes from the yellow bridge by scooter! Beautiful cosy cabins with indoor/outdoor bathroom which I loved! Bed was super comfy & great air con! Also lovely pool area!

Excellent accommodation clean, comfortable and good pool area. Staff were friendly and very helpful to organise transport to and from the yellow bridge and a driver for a day trip to Nusa Lembongan. Ideally situated to explore Mahana point for great surfing or just watching the waves and sunset, Blue Lagoon, and the headland with the old tree. Would highly recommend.

Staff the nicest people

We booked the superior room and although small it was great for a couple nights. The bathroom was clean with hot water which was excellent. The pool and facilities were exactly like described. The best thing about Dafish was honestly the staff. They made us feel welcome from the moment we got there, always greeted us, chatted to us, organised tours for a great price and helped us move to our next place. We have been travelling for 2 months now and we haven’t had staff so attentive and lovely. They were the best.

Warm family-ran hotel, fully recommend!

Such a friendly & welcoming family-run establishment. I’ve had free pickup/dropoff to yellow bridge, and they’ve helped me find a rental scooter, as well as suggested snorkelling trips. Comfy bungalow. Great location to explore Ceningan. Just a 15mn ride to main beach of Lembongan. Thank you for this stay, Putu, Yogi, Dana!
