It was quite close to the center but that’s it worst hotel/ hostel I ve ever been . Dirty and smelly
Everything else. It’s the worst place I ve stayed in my entire travel career(70 countries) dirty, smells like toilet. They don’t provide toilet paper nor soap for handwashing . Staff or owners not nice. Their house is a full mess cats . If you can avoid the location it’s one of the worse I ever stayed. Too sad as the house is a true gem but would need a lot of cleaning and renovations

I never found the hostel. That’s not the right address and I tried to call and the number doesn’t exist. I still don’t have any answers, no from the hostel and nothing from this app. Horrible experience

The only redeeming part about this stay was the location which is extremely central to Ubud but surprisingly quiet the minute you turn onto the side road.
I have never written a negative comment before but I feel this was so bad others need to know what they are paying for. Our room was dirty, especially the bed sheets and all of the pillows - so much so that my partner woke up with a rash in the morning. The fly sheet attached to the bed was filthy and full of holes with a massive stain right above our heads, and there were numerous stains all over the cushions. The bathroom was large but again, not the cleanest and there were absolutely no amenities provided - no soap or showergel, we even ran out of toilet roll and we only stayed one night! No wifi details were provided even though this was listed in our booking and upon arrival we were told breakfast would come at an additional cost even though this was also meant to be included, which led to some frosty reception from the host who did not warm up during our stay. We decided to have breakfast out anyway as we caught a glimpse of the kitchen which was also filthy and was full of rubbish beneath the counters. Finally, the building on a whole is very old so although there are some amazing artworks and engraving within the architecture, all of the areas are so ill maintained that when we hung our clothes out to dry on the drying rails provided on our balcony, they were all stained the next morning by a mysterious substance that leaked from the roof (it hadn’t rained). We took them to a laundry service the next day and the stains still haven’t come out which has ruined some expensive items of clothing. We got a 50% discount for this booking and it was still expensive compared to other places we’ve stayed in Bali and other value stays in the area - we were severely ripped off and would score lower than 1.0 if we could. I really hope management will read this, with some deep cleaning and minor maintenance the property could be incredible.

The staff could be nicer

The location was good, this is in a nearby city area and within walking distance to monkey forest.
I missed my mobile charger there and the next day when i went to pick it was placed at the same socket.
A little bit inside and isolated.

The location is perfect, in the center of everything. They have a Balinese-style pool which adds characteristics to the hostel.
However, the place is too dirty. The room always smelled terrible. The bed sheet was disgusting. I threw away their pillow and used my travel pillow instead. I bought a sarong and put it between me and their really thin "blanket". The room temperature was set at low temperature which is not the hosts' fault but my roommates but I didn't complain to change. so it was difficult to sleep with the smell and the cold. I had a sore throat every morning I woke up.

It’s walking distance to the restaurants and coffee shops
Really smelly and filthy. I have been staying in hostel for 11months and this has been so far the worst I have ever stayed in.
When I arrived the receptionist didn’t even greeted me. He asked me: “are you paying now”?
Don’t do the laundry there. I feel it’s not even cleaned. Moreover, I told them I needed for early afternoon (I left it the day before in the afternoon) they said 5pm and it wasn’t ready by then. I had to keep pushing to get it ready.

Good location, near all the restaurants, bars, and cafés. Walking distance to Monkey Forest. The staff could be friendlier and more helpful.
Big pillows and beds with curtains. Big lockers to put your things (if you can find the locker key). The air con was very good. Very social atmosphere at this hostel. Easy to meet other travelers.
Bathroom had hot water for shower and good water pressure. There is a water dispenser in reception area where you can fill your water bottle for free.
The Wi-Fi almost never worked and the connection was horrible when it did.
The pillows and beds at this hostel are so dirty and smelly!!! It was shocking to see that the staff NEVER washed the bed linen/sheets! Whenever a guest left and checked out, I watched them straighten out the sheets and leave them for the next guests! It was unbelievable! I had to put a towel over my pillow just so I could sleep because the smell was so bad! One of the girls got a skin rash because the sheets were so dirty from never getting washed!!!

Just the location. Maybe the look also but no one go to Ubud to swim..
Definitely one of the worst places that I have been. The bathroom was disgusting, no papel toilet, no clean. The shared room smell horrible, noisy, door noisy, bad.

NOTHING DO NOT GO HERE - the cleaner is nice but deserves a nicer job because the manager is awful.
The women who owns it is so unprofessional, first when arriving after my friend booked me in they told me to pay double what they charged my friend and then the next day my shoes went missing so I asked the lady and she just screamed at us to go away and after ignored us. You could tell the staff were so embarrassed by her unprofessional behaviour. Give your money to locals who deserve it please.

The bedsheets are not changed after each traveler and are simply wiped off using one’s hand. Due to this, the dirt, sweat, and oils built up from god knows how many travelers who came before my stay left me with a FULL body rash. I only ended up staying 2 of my 4 prepaid scheduled nights due to this and the ants that would crawl across my bed. The full body rash due to the filthy sheets did NOT make this place worth the money and the low reviews because I then had to spend subsequent money on going to the doctor while also booking a separate inn to stay at due to my disgust with the hygiene of the place. I would like to mention that I NEVER leave reviews, but I'd like this to be put in writing so the next traveler does not have the same experience I had.

the only good thing was that the owners were nice and helpful and the location was very central
the stay was horrible and I left after the first night even though I had a booking for three nights; I stayed in the dormitory and there was mold everywhere, everything smelled so bad, after just one night the clothes I slept in started to stink like the whole room, I slept in a face mask so to not feel the smell but I still couldn’t fall asleep due to the odor; AVOID THIS HOSTEL; there are many other cheap hostels in Ubud

the location of the place is perfect, you have everything you need around. There is a lot of space inside the dorm and it’s very clean. The swimming pool is really nice and the staff is very helpful. You can do your laundry and they also propose foods for a cheap price.

The room was clean and big. It also has several bathrooms inside the room
The ac didn't work well in the room so it was quite hot at night.

location … fridge & staff were great. Paid breakfast was good.
kids having fun in the pool after school were a delight.
Bed sheets were ok…..but the bed pillows were dirty…stained…basically disgusting.I left them outside the room. They should be destroyed as a health hazard.
the towel & cushions were mouldy & stank. They have only just reopened….like they Maybe washed them 3 years ago….left folded up to go mouldy
and just put them out when reopening. There were no toiletries as promised….

The very lovely room and huge bathroom, beautifully kept garden. Great location in the heart of Ubud, and their swimming pool is a huge bonus! The price per night (inclusive of a simple but tasty breakfast only 2 choices: Omelette or Banana Crepes which is served with coffee and fresh fruits) is very affordable. This lodging house/home stay is perfectly acceptable and we had a wonderful time!
They don't throughly clean the room and toilet.
