The flat is like stepping back in time, but with modern comforts! We loved the atmosphere!

The location is superb -- right in the middle of the old quarter of Lyon, but tucked back on a quiet street. Shops, bakeries, restaurants, a park, and much more is right outside the door. Inside, the flat is spacious and comfortable and quite romantic! The bed is very comfortable! It was very easy to communicate with the owner/manager at any time of day, and the key pickup/drop off was very simple. We loved staying here and will be back!

Excellent location, comfy beds, neat experience. Fun to walk everywhere in old Lyon.

However, the room was being cleaned upon our arrival in late afternoon. The staff was very friendly but it took almost two hours for the room to be ready. After traveling for 18 hours, it was tough to wait. There was not enough toilet paper nor pillow cases nor coffee pods. The large exterior street level door had either a faulty lock or an undisclosed timer on it. The lock had been opened by us several times with no issue, then upon returning from dinner, it could not be unlocked. We are calm, intelligent people and we could NOT get the door opened that night. We asked for help from three passersby who also could not open it. Calls and texts to Booking.com did not elicit the response we needed and we were left standing outside for well over an hour late at night. The door was not swollen from heat nor were we doing anything differently from earlier in the day. Then right after 1030pm, on yet another exasperated try, the lock opened with no issue. Easy peasy. We suspect there was a timer on it. Hugely aggravating. No apology or explanation from the property.

Great location but some facilities disappointing.

Location was excellent, in the heart of the old town, and pretty quiet. Bed comfortable. Good shower (over the bath). Lounge and dining area light, spacious and comfortable. Pierre who greeted us and showed us through the apartment was helpful. There is a lovely coffee shop (Cafe Duclef ) downstairs.

The apartment was advertised with a washing machine however it did not work - it ran but did not even wet the clothes properly. There were extra pillows (which we wanted to use) but there were no pillow slips provided. We tried to contact the managers via Booking.com and via the phone number and email address they provided but there was no reply. A minor inconvenience was that there was a bedside light on only one side of the bed. The apartment is on the second floor and accessible by two flights of stairs that might be difficult for some people, especially with heavy luggage.

Fabulous stay in a unique and beautiful place.

Beautiful old building, attractive, warm and cosy apartment with bags of character, super-comfortable bed/ sofa bed, plenty of hot water. Towels and linen good quality. Location was fantastic, with metro, boulangerie and several museums within 5 mins walk, central city an easy stroll across the Saone. In the rue du Boeuf, behind the building, is an excellent family restaurant, Chez Grandmere, open for lunch and dinner even on Sunday night, unlike many others. V good food!

Communication beforehand was poor, emailed questions to Vincent rarely answered. However, Sam was there to greet us and was very helpful and friendly once we arrived. A few more mugs and a washing up bowl would be good!

Emplacement parfait Confortable et atypique d’être dans l’ancien . Les consignes sont claires et fonctionnent parfaitement Très agréable d’avoir l’accès au parking public Idéal pour 2 personnes je pense . Très bon rapport qualité prix Y retournerais-je ? Oui

Des petites choses ne méritant pas d’être mentionnées car le prix est très cohérent . Ne changez pas 😉

Sol collant par endroits et toiles d’araignée. 2 radiateurs sur trois hors service. Escaliers dangereux, ma fille est tombée 2 fois.

l emplacement 11/10. le cadre, la vue, le quartier. le prix de l'appartement, les equipements en générale. apres on pinaille.

pinaillage: manque les prises electriques de l autre cote du lit (pas de lampe, pas de possibilité de charge), la sortie des poubelles pourraient etre plus discrete.

Piacevole e rilassante in una zona davvero invidiabile

Posizione ottima, palazzo molto bello e particolare. Spazi giusti per quattro persone. Casa attrezzata per varie evenienze (cucina, ferro da stiro, lavatrice, ecc)

La pulizia potrebbe essere migliorata. Nulla di drastico ma un po’ di polvere e ragnatele in qualche angolo dell’appartamento

Απαράδεκτη συμπεριφορά ιδιοκτήτη.Περιμέναμε 3 τέταρτα υπό βροχή να έρθει για να μας δώσει το κλειδί .Δεν καθάρισε ούτε 1 φορά για 7 ημέρες και κατόπιν αιτήματος μας μας απάντησε ότι είχε κάνει επαγγελματικό(!!!!) καθαρισμό πριν να πάμε και χαρτί υγείας να αγοράσουμε(!!!)
