The apartment is good for short stays, for someone who spends most of their time out.

Carla is an extremely nice, kind and accommodating host. On arrival day she met us at midnight to check us in as our train was very delayed. Despite the late hour, she carefully explained all the best places to visit in the city and gave us amazing tips and advice that we absolutely don't regret following. Whenever we had any questions or needed any help she was quick to respond.

The room we were staying in was very dark and there was a little counter space in the kitchen. Moreover the place has very distinct smell and I would not recommend to someone with asthma.

Charming and cozy furnished apartment with a large communal terrace located in a green area. Our host Clara was very helpful and friendly.

Excelent choice

Excelent comunication with the owner, good position near a huge park ( Boboli ). Around 12-15 minutes to center on walking. Enough space for a family of 4, very warm apartment, good sound isolation, nice beds and pillows. Carefour express within 5 min. For taxi always use appTaxi ( local app for calling taxi ), uber is +30%. Laundry room is excelent for more the ln a few days in the city.

I was delayed coming back to Florence from a day-trip to Siena. My phone battery had run-out, too. But, Clara left her phone number for me at her office, and I was able to get help making a call to reach her. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful. On my trip to Italy this summer, I visited Rome for 2-days of work and the rest was personal vacation. After Rome, I visited Florence, Siena, Venice, Milan, and Lake Como. My favorite part of this trip was staying in Florence, and it was largely because I found Poggio Imperiale Apartments.

Enjoying Florence in your way, in your own time, with real Italy on your doorstep.

Self-catering. Outside patio for sitting and breakfast. Good supermarket reasonable walk away. Walk into centre so never needed to use public transport or taxis. Uffizi, Boboli Gardens and Pitti Palace easy walk away. Two good nearby restaurants, one pizzeria one more up market.

Accommodation was good, but missing that final touch for excellence. Would use again.

very comfortable stay not far from the city centre

The apartment was really good for one person. Very spacious. It had heating, which was important even in mid-April. The water flow and temperature were really good. The location was nice and quiet. About 20 mins walking distance from Ponte Vecchio. The host was amazing. First of all, she was quick to reply to my message on booking.com before I actually booked the property. Secondly, she organised an early taxi for me to go to the airport and helped with any questions that i had.

I can't say these are the things that I didn't like because they weren't important for me. But they may matter for someone else. The stove didn't work. Though I'm sure the host would've fixed that if I'd asked. There was no kettle so I used the coffee machine to boil the water. The host offered to buy me a kettle, but my stay was short so it wasn't necessary.

We liked the hotel very much. It was designed in antic style , it was very nice. The host was very kind and helpful. She advised good restaurants and places to visit and everything we needed. There was a nice yard to enjoy a cup of coffee. The city center was 10-15 minutes walk away.

The location was in a quiet area of Florence. Nearby we had all the shops, bars we needed, and it was very close to the historic centre.

Superb

The appartment is located within a beautiful villa, near Porta Romana. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Carla, the host, met us at our arrival to give us the keys and spend some time meeting us, as well as, providing us tips on places to visit. Thank you for being such a nice and kind host Carla!

We would suggest that the plastic plates and cups are replaced with re-usable ones.

Beautiful and spacious apartment with everything you need.

We had the best stay here, the apartment was everything we'd hoped for - lovely decor, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, with the most charming terrace. Clara was extremely helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed all of her recommendations for the city. It made a huge difference to our experience.

Very nice stay at a short walk to all tourist attractions

Very central location nearby all amenities and at a short walk to the historic centre. The apartment is very comfy but the style my not be to everyone's taste.

We went by car and it wasn't easy to park. We should have asked our host far in advance a place in the local garage.

At the footsteps of the Florentine hills

The apartment is conveniently located near the Boboli Gardens and can be the starting point for a wonderful walk to the city center or - if you are in for something special - for a hike in the hills around Florence with spectacular views of the town. It has all it takes for a comfortable stay. The air con worked fine and allowed us to sleep well despite the hot temperatures outside. The whole structure is kind of old, though well maintained. Consider that as part of the experience of living in a real florentine home ⚜

Some minor details in the kitchen could be improved. Chairs are too high, for example.

Amazing apartment, very cosy, unique and has its own terrasse. I loved this place, small kitchen, separate entrance, very welcoming host, and all the facilities needed for your stay. Area is very green and i really recommend to have a long walk on the Nicolo Machiavelli street just around the corner that leads to the panoramic view to Florence from the Basilic San Miniato al Monte. This place is 20-25 min walking distance from the Florence center but it worth it as its green, quiet and very lovely. And also we can see ont walls of the apartment lovely letters from the previous guests that loved staying there, accompanied with a pictures that they made.

Wonderful stay and place!

The apartment is lovely, and the terrace is very pleasant and spacious. The location is ideal, outside the center but everything is within 15-20 minute walk. There is a supermarket near the apartment and there are a number of delightful bars and restaurants about 5 minutes away. Carla is wonderful and completely receptive to any questions or help. Wonderful stay and wonderful place!

Perfect location and best host ever!

Right at the gate of touristic and real Florence allowing to discover both sides very easily. Clara is a phenomenal host, very kind, welcoming, attentive and thoughtful. Couldn’t ask for more. Amazing big terrace of this 1860s building is a great space to relax after day of sightseeing. Us and our 2 yr old really loved it. Thank you!!
