About this apartment rental
The Lodges Mura is located in a building that was completely renovated in 2011 and has a spacious green terrace. The building is located at Porta Romana, just inside the city walls, a few steps from the most famous and characteristic monuments and museums of Florence, among which Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens. The large terrace with sitting area with gazebo, chairs and tables, chairs and umbrellas, is an oasis of peace where to relax after a day full of fantastic experiences in beautiful Florence. From the terrace and the windows of the apartments offer also the view of the portion of the Sixth walls of the fourteenth century Porta Romana, in which then housed the soldiers on guard are visible then the dome of Brunelleschi and Giotto's bell tower.

Mt husband, daughter and I were very pleased with our accommodations when we arrived in Florence. Ulrika was very professional, and took great pride in her beautiful property. She had told us earlier about avoiding the ZTL as we drove around Florence, and though we got a little confused at the very end, a phone call to her was all that we needed to arrive safely (and without a fine!) at the apartment.
The bedrooms were very clean and spacious with comfortable beds, though the fluffy duvets were a little too warm for us at that time of year. The kitchen easily met our needs, and the bathroom was modern with a nice bathtub and shower. The elevator was a great convenience with our luggage, too, as we were on the top floor.
The apartment is located across the river from the more "touristy" side, which we liked. It was fairly quiet and took between 5-10 minutes to walk to the Ponte Vecchio.
Overall, this apartment perfectly met our needs, and I would highly recommend it to others.
