Solo female travellers avoid

Good location, and it was clean and tidy

I didn't feel safe. I reported my curtain wasn't working, and I was ignored. As a solo female traveller, this was a red flag so I left and found alternative accommodation.

If you like to sleep with shampoo in your hair it’s great, no water in the night

relatively clean, close to the bus stop

I was taking a shower and the water stopped. I had to sleep with shampoo in my hair and soap on my body. The kettle was burned and it started smoking like crazy plus the terrible smell. No response from the hotel, nobody picked up the phone or answered to any of my messages till this day

Disappointing and all this could be avoided, finish the property properly and then advertise.

This building ( All KGT rooms) was undergoing remodeling/ construction at the time of our stay. The smell or use of high VOC paints was choking and we were forced to sleep with the window wide open in a not so desirable area of Dublin (which meant that we didn't really sleep anyway. What was more worrying was that the fire alarm was registering a fault and had been silenced which was just the same the following morning. The room whilst comfortable and reasonably clean was also been decorated and in an unfinished state with wiring for bed lights etc not connected. Why not finish your remodelling before you try and rent out? The need for money to finish it presumably? And why use toxic paints? Otherwise it could be ok.

Noisy people in the building walking aroud passed midnight. Bedtime light not working on the two single beds room. Too hard and thick pillows. Shower pressure could be better.

I booked on booking.com, it was OK for the money.

There was no breakfast availability. It looks as though they are setting up a breakfast room in the basement, but not at the moment, a work in progress. For the money location was OK. A 25 minute walk into the city centre. There were no staff on site, apart from a handyman who wanted 10 min access to our room. The room was clean.

Not able to have a shower at night. Plenty of hot water if you wanted to have a scalding shower, but no cold water, so not possible to have a shower. Plus no warning that our room was 4 floors up, a long haul with a heavy suitcase, no lift of course, an old building.

The room was very comfortable and clean, we were very well situated as the room is also close to the city centre. All said and done, we had a very nice stay.

Location is decent

Well forget taking a shower while staying there. It’s some weird set-up where you press a button to get hot water but then you ONLY get hot water and it’s scolding hot. Then the water cuts off. I ended up using the tea pot to put water over me. Absolutely ridiculous, this place is not fit to be rented out.

Great pit stop

Very easy to access with clear key instructions. The property had everything you could need, including thoughtful extras like tea, coffee, and shampoo. The double bed was clean but could do with replacing, as the springs have started to sink. The fire alarm tended to go off when boiling the kettle, so its placement might need rethinking. That said, it’s in a great location, and overall, I’d happily return

Overall it was a good stay for the price I paid.

Everything was under renovations when I went. Despite that, my room was clean, they had shampoo there to use and the information was easy to find about how to use the shower and connect to the wifi.

The bed I slept in apartment 3A was fairly uncomfortable, it’s a good thing I had walked a lot that day and was exhausted.

Mattress and bed in general could use replacement, really soft and for even for mid weight people rather uncomfortable, bed doesn’t seem to be very stable. Some black mould in the bathroom should be removed.

The room/facility was under renovations which understandably presents some difficulties. Also, free storage of luggage prior to check in was not available. It cost 5 euro per bag to store for just a few hours.

Great little ground floor flat

All the basics, nice and private. Very good communication before my stay, very good instructions at the property. 20 minute walk from town centre area. Close to spar, chemist, bus stop. Kettle, microwave, crockery provided. Beds very comfortable, individual rooms within the flat were great.

Couldn't get tv to work, obviously in the middle of decorating, no fridge, could do with a shelf in the bathroom and a few more teabags. All fairly unimportant. Much appreciated stay over.

It’s ok for 1 night

The location is great, direct bus from the airport and everything is close. The beds are not new but looks clean.

Strange walls that are probably on repair, not cosy rooms, no reception, cold. The check out is at 10, that is usually at 11 or 12 in Dublin, at 9.30 they came to check if we are ready for checking out. For one night is ok.
