Exceptional customer service and assistance from Lucia at the reception desk, and the other members of staff employed within the hotel.

Charming small hotel with great shared facilities (library, terrace, spa, etc…). Fun decor. Excellent food on offer at the restaurant. Conveniently close to the station, the bus stop and the Rothorn lifts.

Breakfast was late on Sunday… not a dealbreaker, far from it, just a slight inconvenience.

It's very chic. The staff was amazing. Breakfast was good (cold meats, cheeses, bread, croissants, yoghurt, salad, nuts, I think serials, good coffee / tea machine with various options). Value was great for the very pricy Zermatt (but it's still pricy). It's walking distance to everything. There is a spa!

Zermatt is expensive, but this this place is probably one of the best value for money options, and it feels chic and premium.

Quite a lot of staff are heavy smokers. You can always see they smoke in the yard during working hours. Breakfast is very limited choice; the spa room that the steam room can barely accommodate 3 people. Most importantly, usual hotel in Zermatt offers shuttle pickup from the station. This hotel dont have such service however, the way to the hotel is not 8 mins flat walk. instead it is about 15 mins walk which requires you to cross the railway, uphill, downhill. So think twice before you book.
