    First of all, I was extremely disappointed with the service recovery by the receptionists handling my check in. My booking in agoda depicted a family room with a loft type setup which was the main reason why i booked this for a special occasion. I was assigned a family room that was not loft type. Which i questioned on two separate occasions. I was told “ we have different types of family room”, “wait for 10 Mins while i check”, “we are fully booked”. Basically I didn’t feel like there was any attempt at service recovery. I was basically expected to take the room or leave it. Anyway it seemed I was assigned to a room with another person’s name. Nonetheless, restaurant staff were really helpful, prompt in service. The swimming pool and jacuzzis were a nice touch too. The location is convenient and room is clean (albeit with a layout different from what i saw in my booking photo). In all fairness, agoda customer service provided me with a proper service recovery.

    We had wonderful time. A great place with excellent views of the surroundings, especially the Matterhorn. Services are excellent and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast and dinner thoroughly.

    We got a free upgrade to a Panoramic View room, which was nice and the room itself was okay. However, the breakfast was quite disappointing — not many choices and we even saw flies on some of the food. For the price we paid, there are definitely better hotel options out there. On the plus side, the hotel will provide a fan upon request, which was helpful.
