Lovely stay

Lovely location, staff were so lovely, we were at a wedding here. The waitress was great craic. Food was absolutely beautiful.

Cant say anything bad except the room was soo warm and down at breakfast but that could off been the amount of alcohol consumed 🤣

Beautiful setting and really friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was great.

A lot of the hotel was a bit grubby and tired, especially the changing rooms in the spa. Bathroom in the room was dark and didn’t feel clean.

Breakfast was decent, place looked clean

Our room was above the ground floor toilets on a busy Saturday night, the hand dryers were really noisy and went off every few minutes which sounded like a loud hoover in our room. This meant I couldn't sleep until after the guests went to bed around 3am. The receptionist wasn't interest in my feedback and said this was the first time they heard of it? They shouldnt have a room in that location or replace the hand dryers, The bad room location was disappointing as we made the booking a long time ago and the food wasn't great either.

First time visitors might take a little time to get to know the place but other than that 11out 10.

Everyone and everything, haven’t stayed there during the summer, but I have a feeling that it would be absolutely rocking with the lake and the on site facilities

The staff in the bar. Went up 3 times to get a drink left standing there and another comes gets served before me , ok I understand busy but to look at somebody and walk away and not serve them that's bad form , so probably for that reason I won't be back

my trip went well.. I am a Coelic and the care given to that was great. the room was lovely and warm. Dinner was great too. swimming pool was warm and clean. The staff were very helpful with a smile for everyone.

Lovely family stay

Swimming pool was fantastic. Great baby pool. And then the main pool is all the same level (able to stand at all times if needed) so very good for people who are not fantastic swimmers. Reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Hotel was very clean.

Nothing we didn’t like. But just a suggestion - If staff had little colouring pencils/paper to give kids at mealtimes - seen this done in other hotels and thought it was a great idea to keep kids busy.

The noise levels in the restaurant & bar were pretty poor. Acoustics need addressed in the restaurant and in the guest room, as we couldn’t sleep due to the noise of the wedding music. We called reception before midnight and they advised there was nothing they could do.

Zero feeling of hospitality, all about extracting as much money as possible. Irish hospitality long gone at another hote

Met by cold reception staff, cold bedroom but beautifully decorated, which I said to even colder receptionist on departure, twice, as she ignored me the first time. Do your staff have an issue with hardworking solo women travellers, I felt unwelcome from the start. Was meeting my American friend who’s visiting the area, your bar manager has a problem with me asking for a quieter table, away from children I was glared at, and then we had to endure awful old bad music blaring, we couldn’t hear one another speak, only the lovely waitress with the pink hair saved us. Having to pay 10€ for breakfast to the room on top of 169€ single occupancy is disgraceful.

The above rude, uncaring staff, bar manager in pink shirt visibly being rude, dirty table, dinner menu lazy, same as everywhere else in the country, couldn’t even eat the prawn starter, one bottle of water in room meant I had to go to restaurant early morning for another small bottle and charged €3 for the pleasure etc etc

Lovely place for a family break

Spacious comfortable. Staff all lovely and efficient. Lovely grounds and leisure facilities.

TV kept pixelating and shower difficult to turn off/on. When fully eating at the hotel, the bar menu became a bit repetitive.

Gorgeous Property, Amazing Staff

When we arrived only one of our rooms was ready. But the staff was able to get us set up so we could get in and put our 2 year old down for a nap after a long travel day in the car. We were informed that both of our rooms had been complimentary upgraded (which was really nice). The hotel was beautiful. We loved all the different wallpaper, tile, carpets, and decor - it was very nice. The spa and leisure club was a big bonus.

The food options were slightly limited in my opinion and were a tad on the pricey side overall - but the quality was good
