I have never been to an accommodation that was so filthy in my life. The carpet was stained and smelled, the furniture smelled like feces and had grime and animal hair in the crevices. There were dead, and alive spiders and bugs in every room.

Lovely stay definitely will be returning. Such pleasant staff very welcoming. Well equipped self catering. Service in the restaurant was quick and efficient. Food was great. If you like golf you won't be disappointed with the surroundings. Very suitable for those who like a central base.

The lodge was very comfortable and in a lovely setting. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for maintenance so we didn't get to experience the food on offer. My only, very minor complaint was the lack of a bedside lamp in the 2nd bedroom. Also, all the speed humps along the driveway into the property were a bit on the big side! None of these things would put me off booking again.

The accommodation is excellent. We were missing a light in the bathroom and had a broken light bulb beside the bed . Little things that can be ironed out. The dinning room however was a terrible experience, we were given a pint of beer that was definitely not great, but we were also given a glass for sparkling water that smelt of beer so I think this was a dishwasher issue. The dinner however was awful, the worst I have ever been served, one slice of grey, hard roast beef and 2 dry peeled boiled potatoes, the veg here was Ok. Surf and turf, Prawns smelled off, the mash was slightly sour and the steak burnt on the outside and freezing and definitely raw not rare on the inside. Both dinners freezing cold. And a bill of 49 euro for 2 inedible meals . We were very disappointed and barely received an apology. Just the bill. And a drive somewhere else to get something to eat. Would I stay here again yes , would I eat here again definitely not.

Lovely location. A lovely spacious house on the grounds. We got a great welcome. Good attempt at compliance with Covid guidelines. I suggest management wear visors when talking to guests. Serving staff wore visors but management spent more time talking to guests to help them out but did not wear a visor.

We are a family of four and stayed here for a night while traveling through the area. We are not golfers but our two adult children were with us so we needed something that would give everyone their space. We stayed in lodge #5. It had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It also had a large living room area and very large kitchen area. The grounds are very beautiful as well! Very quiet and peaceful. Only took us about an hour to get into Dublin the next day to catch our flight home.

Beautiful grounds. We stayed in remodeled stables of horse ranch. We were able to play 9 holes of golf before breakfast. Just a lovely place. We had a full kitchen and washer dryer which was great. Kind and helpful staff

Polite and accommodating staff. Grounds are absolutely beautiful for golfers or families, alike. 20 minutes away from Mullingar and 5 minutes from Tyrrellspass, with shopping, pubs, historical sites (Belvedere, Lake Ennell) nearby. Spacious rooms allow for plenty of room to spread out and enjoy some privacy. Close to all highways to get you where you need to go. Highly recommend for those looking for a taste of Ireland with modern amenities.

We stayed here in Apartment No. 10, the honeymoon suite, last weekend and it was absolutely lovely. The Apartment was so clean and new. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedroom had a king size bed with lots of wardrobe storage. The bathroom had a jacuzzi & and a 2 person shower. Lying in the Jacuzzi listening to the birds singing outside was so relaxing and peaceful. We ate in the restaurant that evening, the food was top class. The staff were so pleasant and helpful, especially the owner John & his son. A special mention to Jimmy the Manager who would make anyone feel so welcome and would talk for Ireland (as most Gaelic football Kerry men do !) We loved our stay and will definitely return :-)

We had house 4 which was very spacious. Large lounge with steps down to kitchen/dining area. 2 double bedrooms + double sofa bed in dining area. Both bedrooms had ensuite. One had a shower, the other had a jacuzzi bath + shower over it. Staff r incredibly friendly & helpful. The accommodation is set on a golf course so it is very quiet and a long walk to the local village...but a 5 minute drive. There you will find a Centra store which has everything and they make fresh sandwiches, paninis etc daily to order. The furniture and appliances were all good quality. Most of the kitchen appliances were NEFF brand. The kitchen had crockery for 6, saucepans and frying pans but no tea pot :( There was a dishwasher (dishwasher tabs were also supplied), fridge/freezer, microwave, oven +hob, washer dryer, toaster and kettle. Plenty of spare towels and duvets on hand too and very comfy beds. PROS: extremely quiet location and very very spacious. You can buy meals in the golf club or go a short distance to the Tyrrellspass castle restaurant which does great food.CONS: Very minor points!! but.... the rooms are a little bare. They could do with a sideboard in the living room. One bathroom had a large cabinet, the other had nowhere to put toiletries except on the floor. Ideally there would have been a little table and chairs in the patio to sit in the sun or eat meals. There was plenty of space for the kids but not much to do locally. No wifi. Reception isnt staffed 24hrs.
