Comfortable

Enda was a lovely host, and even gave us a lift into town to save a cab fare so we could enjoy a night out. The house and room were very comfortable

Attentive, welcoming host. Clean, spacious home.

We booked for one night while I was attending a competition at the nearby Mullingar Equestrian Centre. We had reserved the larger double room for me to share with a family member and a friend reserved the smaller double room. Enda was very welcoming on our late arrival to the B&B. As we would be up very early the next day, she gave us some yogurts, fruit and breakfast bars to bring with us as we would not have time for breakfast at the house. The hallway has a lovely grand staircase and stained window. Our rooms were number 1 & 2. Number 1 is a larger double room. It is beautifully furnished with elegant country furniture in neutral tones. The ensuite bathroom was large and clean with a lovely walk in shower. Number 2 is a compact double room, with a modern interior finish. Again the room was clean and my friend commented on how comfortable the bed was. As we had a long drive the day of arrival one we settled in the rooms we were asleep immediately. It was very thoughtful of the hosts to ensure there was no noise after 10pm from downstairs. We really loved that the hosts also had links to the horsey world!

It was a little warm in the rooms on arrival but cooled down with the windows open. We were staying while there was particularly hot weather in Ireland, so this was not a fault of the host.

One night stay

Beautiful clean & spotless house with everything one could need. Fabulous continental breakfast in lovely surroundings. Enda is a lovely lady & makes fabulous hot tea in a lovely silver teapot!! Keep up the good work Enda!!

I would highly recommend starting at Keyfield house. I've travelled a lot, and this is now one of my favorite stays

When you arrive in the property , you're immediately greeted by beautiful scenery, with a beautiful house and lovely green grass meadows. The host, Enda, was the icing on the cake! Absolutely wonderful.

Everything! It's close enough to the city of Mullingar, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of country living.

Very comfortable, safe and breakfast was amazing, they did not rush us at all.

The breakfast was lovely with lots of choices and fresh fruit. House was lovely and big, we cycled there and they put our bikes in a shed for the night. My friend was not well after the cycle and they were good to them.

House is a little out side of town, but in a nice part of the country. there is not much to complain about. overall is was good, safe and friendly place. I would go back there again to stay there again

A welcoming, luxurious hotel in Mullingar, the heart of the North Midlands. Highly recommended.

We loved Enda's friendliness, she was a great host. The room was large, extremely comfortable and welcoming, the bed was very roomy and very comfortable and the walk-in, luxurious shower was a joy. The gardens were lovely, the whole house was beautiful and the continental breakfast was just right. All in all, a lovely. luxurious night on our travels. Thankyou, Enda.

We couldn't get the hair dryer to work, but that was probably our fault. Nothing else was a problem.
