Buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and space. Evening bar meals were very good. especially as it was raining and we did not want to venture out in the evening

maybe more space in the bar in the evening for food. However this did not affect our enjoyment of the hotel.

Charming Hotel in centre of Mullingar town

Very central location. Staff well trained and friendly, so very good customer service. Restaurant had a really lovely atmosphere and excellent food and service. Hotel is very old fashioned, but this adds to the charm of this very old hotel. Great buzz about the hotel, as it is in the centre of the town, so it's a busy hotel.

Bar and breakfast amazing service

No lift Room to warm, bed uncomfortable, duvet way too heavy, opened windows and carpark under window noisey Very load music till 2.30 am couldn't sleep people shouting outside window and smoking, doors banging. Thought Friday was bad Saturday 10 time's worse

Highly recommend The Greville Arms Hotel. Cannot wait to return.

Staff were very attentive. Friendly and efficient. Service was amazing and breakfast was absolutely beautiful. Location was excellent. Right in the centre of Mullingar. Entertainment in the bar was a bonus and there was a great atmosphere.

The room could have been a bit warmer when we arrived, but otherwise, very comfortable bed and good sized room.

I’d stay there again without hesitation now that I know what to expect.

The breakfast was excellent, an open buffet. Help yourself. The coffee was very good, and staff are very nice and welcoming. This hotel probably has the best pint of Guinness I’ve ever had in a hotel. I estimated that approximately 70% of the clientele in the packed bar were drinking it. The food was excellent and reasonably priced.

While I prefer older hotels, my room was toward the street. The sash windows allow in a lot of street noise and I’m a light sleeper. The Wi-Fi is poor in some areas of the hotel. Again, it is a problem in older buildings due to their construction.

Staff are always brilliant. A good hotel can be judged on staff length of service always the same warm welcome from familiar faces. It's why I choose to stay here

Ideal breakaway in Mullingar

Friendly staff. Beautiful Christmas decorations everywhere. Food was excellent. Comfortable room. Lovely hot chocolate sachets in room and chocolate tea cakes. Location was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. We'll be back.

Main restaurant seemed to be short-staffed, but we were kind of late to dinner. The hotel has many levels of stairs on each floor. It was confusing the first time we tried to find our room. Glad they brought our luggage to us.

The garden area on 1st floor was open over night...with residents using it it was after 4.30am by time got to sleep with noise.

We loved the hotel, it is beautiful and very special 😁 The food was absolutely delicious in their Award winning James & Joyce restaurant - I would rate that food a 5* ! Breakfast was good too, everyone will find something nice ☺️ Customer service was great too, very welcoming with private parking behind the hotel 🏨 Great location !

Extremely pleasant

The service was great and the evening meals delicious. The staff were friendly and made us very welcome. It was in the centre of town so handy for the shops. We asked for a room with a walk in shower and got one!

At first I thought a lift would be of use but eventually I found a way to our 2nd floor room with only short flights of stairs to navigate.
