Great semi-rural setting with view to fields from bedroom window. Clean and comfortable. Well heated. Very quiet. Great shower and fluffy towels. Good included breakfast in delightful breakfast room. Friendly staff. Good communication. Easy to find.. A great place to stay!

Where do I begin?! There's so much to love at Kathleen's. First, the staff is so friendly and caring. After the airline delayed our arrival 1 day, Kathleen was so understanding and quick to help change the dates of our stay to accommodate us. Second, after a long, frustrating 2 days of horrible travel issues, it was a joy to have sweet Lin greet us when we walked in. She is the most kind and caring person - I looked forward to see her smiling face every day! The location is fantastic - just a short, easy drive to Killarney, which means you avoid all the crazy noise from town. There's a bit of traffic sounds from a nearby highway, but honestly, it was very soft and kind of soothing (and this is coming from a light sleeper!). The breakfast each day was perfect. Great selection to choose from, tasted wonderful, and we loved it all. There's nothing better than drinking your morning coffee, listening to Irish music playing softly while looking out at the green hills with the rain tapping on the bay windows of the dining room. Pure, Irish bliss. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!! Thank you, Kathleen and Lin!

The property is being updated and our bathroom was new. The linen was nice and the room was large. We had a room with no stairs as requested. The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the included breakfast.
The room was pretty cold and I generally am very hot in hotel rooms so it was unusual to be chilly. The bathroom was new, got full of condensation overnight, making all the towels wet. I wonder if the radiator needs turning up and the room would be warmer and bathroom drier? I appreciate the updates the new owners are making!
