Travelled with friends on a girls weekend. The hotel was close to the town centre so near restaurants, bars and shops. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I have a gluten intolerance and they treated me like a queen as regards to looking after my dietary requirements. I filled out a card every morning and stated what I would like for my English breakfast of which they organised in a separate area in the kitchen so I wasn’t worried about the cross contamination. We also used the spa facilities which were included in our stay. The treatments were amazing and reasonably priced.
Certain areas of the hotel were quite dark especially the rooms. Our room had a stand alone light which wasn’t working and had tape around, which was a health and safety issue. We called housekeeping straight away and they replaced it with a different light but it still wasn’t the best. The spa had only one ladies toilet with a working light, so unless you wanted to go in darkness not ideal. The spa also needs a couple more seats by the pool area and the towels and the dressing gowns need upgrading, as some of the robes had no loops for the belts. The chlorine in the pool was quite over powering. It might be worth investing in some paper cups rather then the cones as they disintegrate too quickly after second use.

Location was okay. Easy to find and park. Staff support
Room was near lift. Very noisy. Mentioned this on check out and was refunded parking (gratefully).
Breakfast was very disappointing. £16 for tasteless fare. Choice was great. Quality very poor.
