Love the decor and view from our balcony and parking was next door. Food & Cocktails were good.
The central building heating was too hot and can't be individually adjusted in room so had to sleep with the balcony door open. Not too sure about the 'entertainment' we were treated to during the buffet dinner 😄.

I loved the stylish decor and the big spacious rooms with great view and big lovely beds.
Fabulous shower !
Perfect location right at the beach
I really missed a side table or some other place in the bath room where to put cream, make up and other products.
The sink ended up as one big mess because there where nowhere to put stuff.
Plus the room /bathroom really should get a few hangers where to hang a bathrope or a jacket(in the entry ).
Another thing was that the breakfast area was far too crowded with long queues for the coffee machines. A good hotel should work smoothly even when it’s fully booked.

We were given room 310 which had a sea facing view. Positive as there was sun up to 1pm. Good size room, Bathroom very good. Breakfast was what we expected.
After 1pm we lost the sun. When room was too warm we had to open the balcony door which was then noisy from the sea at night. TV could have been bigger. Bathroom mirror on wall was gigh, sink high, pull out mirror was too high.
Dinner has improved from selection especially the grill. Could be more sea food options. Breakfast only one day had salmon but generally very good.

The room lovely decoration and comfortable.
The food can be improved, we chose half board and comparing to Amaragua, Ocean House and Riu it was not as good, more basic, less choice.
Please improve the dinner as the rest of the hotel is fantastic.

The food. The board walk.
We arrived late in the evening. The receptionists said our room has a lovely view over the pool and the sea. She offer us pool towels (€20 per towel refunded when we leave) We wondered why we were offered the pool towels, when they knew that the very next morning there would be no pool
The room had a beautiful view over the pool and the sea. The next morning at 0830 approx the drilling started and the heavy duty machinery arrived to dig up the gardens and the pool. I would guess that approx 70% to 80% of the outdoor space was now turned into a very noisy building site. The other 20% to 30% you could not sit there due to the works going on. We booked this hotel a long time ago and were not informed about the new works. The receptionists just referred us back to Booking.com and it is there problem. Generally you had to be out of the hotel after breakfast till evening meal. In your room you could not sit there due the noise. I honestly believe that the hotel should have been closed for the duration of the works. It is just pure greed that they are keeping it open

The location is excellent. Room had views onto the beach and over the pool. Decor was themed to reflect its long history. Bed was super comfortable.
The bathroom definitely needed a makeover, particularly the shower area and the tiling. Breakfast had a great selection but wasn’t particularly tasty and the coffee was horrible.

Our fourth visit, we love this hotel really comfortable and we shall visit again next Spring
Just an observation about the evening dinner arrangements. We think that the 2.50 euro charge for non labelled re fillable water bottle is not an acceptable charge for such a basic item. This needs a review.

We love the perfect location, just open the back door and we're walking along the beach, with many restaurants, cafes and shops. We feel like home.
We had to pay for parking, 16 euro per night, and the last 2 days we had problem with the parking gate didn't open and because of that we were blocked to go to my kids activity which we already booked and paid in advance, which is canyoning in Benahavis, 1 hour drive away. We didn't trust the parking facility at the last day we stay because we didn't want to risk missing our flight from Sevilla. So we paid fully 6 nights parking $96 but we didn't use the facility completely. It would be great if the hotel can apologize and show some gesture, but no.
Second thing is the air conditioner, didn't work at night, we had to open our windows

Breakfast and evening dinner was terrific, with a wide selection to choose from and friendly staff, looking out at the promenade.
Reception area bit souless and staff could be a bit more chatty and helpful. Are could be more welcoming and information desk there.

Beds are comfortable, breakfast is good
Arrived on Thursday 2nd October was overcharged by 240 euros on our 3 rooms. Rude guy on reception who rushed me and insisted it was the right amount. Once I had time to calculate the amount properly I went back to him and he realised he had made a mistake but he was still quite abrupt and not apologetic at all, very disappointing. He refunded my card but I was then over 20 euros out of pocket due to the exchange rate. Have stayed at this hotel a couple of times, but will not be coming back.

Location
No help with the bags on arrival, lifts very old & slow, empty bottle in room with note you have to go back downstairs to fill it if you want water, the most unwelcoming thing I’ve ever encountered, had breakfast included, looked at state of food on offer & walked out as it was appalling. Cheap sheets, toilet roll was thinnest cheapest money can buy. Will not ever stay here again

I loved the art deco theme, the staff were friendly, the pool was big………
It needs an update, my shower leaked in the room, you could see mould bits on silicone. Asked for soda water all holiday and then at the end found they had it.
I loved the hotel but don’t think it was worth 1400 for a week stay bed and breakfast for 2

Good location, friendly staff
It should be forbidden to go shirtless (men) or just a bikini top (women) into the dinning room or reception area. Also for reserving your pool chairs before breakfast. Although it says so, there’s no control.
We’ve been to Pez Espada before and had the impression that the standards of etiquette were lowered which is too bad for a hotel which such a history

Bed and pillows were minimal comfort. For us, a family with child, it would have been nice to have had a quieter room. A concert outside by the pool until 23hO0 and SO LOUD, was horrible!! I understand there are other people staying at the hotel that have other priorities, so the hotel could have been more mindful for us, since we had no idea that the singing was going to happen. Will likely never come back because of that.

Really enjoyed the location and the facilities. The breakfast and the entertainment superb. The evening dinners were a little disappointing and not to our taste. The salads however were fantastic as well as the desserts.
Maybe it could be possible to have a little more simple foods for us English at the evening dinners.

The view from the 7th floor was beautiful. The green lawn with new sun beds looked perfect and very relaxing.
Room was big, clean, and had a large, comfortable bathroom. The location is excellent, close to everything.
Breakfast was good with many choices. We also enjoyed learning about the history of the hotel — very interesting!
The only thing that could be better is the wardrobe. It would be nice to have more space to hang long dresses. Also one elevator must be maintained

Lovely hotel, great breakfast, rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool area was lovely . Location is excellent, straight onto the promenade. Loved the way it has kept its old charm with photos of Frank Sinatra, Sean Connery, etc and Frankie’s bar.
People leaving their towels on sun loungers was very annoying as we spent a lot of money to stay at this hotel and ended up paying for loungers on the beach everyday. Staff were professional but not very friendly.
