Nice and quite location, great views
No bar or restaurant or anywhere to get a drink or snack??

Beautiful settings, lively staff and good breakfast.
I hope we had a kettle in the room! But not everyone is into tea as much as we are!

Lovely views, garden & pool.

It was quiet. Spacious room and very clean. Beautiful views from the terrace. Breakfast was good.
The saltwater pool was clean and very refreshing.
We had the roadside room and when you opened the window it was loud. No tea/coffee-making facilities in the rooms. A lot of up and down outside steps. Not all facilities were available like the dinner, snack bar or spa. They had closed from September 14th. This wasn't mentioned. Did not have shampoo etc in the bathrooms. Had to drive to Perugia which was way more than 2 miles. The city was so busy that it made parking very difficult.

Lovely friendly people, excellent location and stunning views
Slightly noisy from road but double glazing took care of that perfectly and aircon worked a treat

We specifically chose an out of town hotel as we were having an anniversary treat, but needed to be able to park our camper van, a request that was readily agreed to and even before we arrived, the service was excellent and an early arrival was also agreed to. The staff were both friendly and helpful and Valerio, who works on reception and speaks perfect English, always greeted us as we walked past his door. The pool and restaurant have a really nice vibe and have wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. We spent 3 nights here and had lunch and dinner on two days. Lunch menu is ‘light bites’, ideal when spending a day by the pool and evening meal, delicious food topped off by the view! We used the in-house taxi service to visit Perugia, which was inexpensive and we were collected back very promptly at the end of the day, thank you Rosano for going above and beyond with your ‘extra tour’ As you can tell, we absolutely loved our stay at Domus Volumnia and would return again a heartbeat!

The garden and pool area are beautiful.
Very limited menu and hot water took ages to run hot. Group parties appeared to come to use the pool which spoilt the peace and tranquility.

Lovely pool setting albeit very busy with hotel guests and what seemed like outside visitors. Great breakfast and we used the 15 euro (each way) shuttle service to Perugia several times with the very friendly Rosano. Correspondence was quick and friendly. Our kids loved the playground and dogs in the hotel.
The lady at the reception was not friendly and was not a good welcome. Our apartment was not clean; first thing I did was clean out the hair from the shower drain so the small shower would drain. Also the bathroom had a terrible smell which they tried to fix but unfortunately couldn’t as it seemed to come the old drains. The kitchen was full of scratched pans and an old sponge and therefore not somewhere you would want to cook. The hotel is not walking distance to anything but we knew this when we booked.

We went to Perugia for a 3 days wedding and we stayed 5 families at Domus Volumnia. The place is not located in walking distance from the city, so you will need a car, but for us it was perfect as a base. It looks on maps like the highway is running very close, but it’s in a tunnel so you don’t notice it at all. Nice pool area with a bar, restaurant etc with a nice view over the Umbrian nature, made the all the free time we had very nice and convenient. Staff was friendly, breakfast better than average in Italy. So if you are looking for a nice hotel with a pool, close to Perugia, where you can spend some hours during the day and sleep well, I would recommend staying here.
You need to get new pillows. Too hard, too high. If you are not used to this kind of pillows you can’t sleep well.

Oh this property is very beautiful! Assigned sun beds so you can be sure to have sport near the pool even after lunch. Short drive to the Perugia and Assisi. Free parking on the spot! Dinner was exquisite! Friendly and helpful staff. Specious room.
We noticed that cleaning was not so good as we would expect. It seemed that they only made the bed in our 3 days stay. Breakfast need to be upgraded as well. We were bit surprised as dinner was very delicious but breakfast had really poor options.

Very impressed with the attention we got. I traveled with my sister who is in bad health. We got assigned an appartement on 2 nd floor and lots of stairs. Almost impossible for her. Next day the owner and Valerio at front desk had an apartment for us at ground level right by the pool. We were so grateful and happy. Service was impeccable for our situation all our needs were met. Dinner was brought up to us in first nite so my sister did not have to go down all the stairs
All in all a very great stay Will definitely recommend this hotel
Breakfast very simple and not enough fruit

Staff and location are great. The site has wonderful views and the grounds, with pool, are fantastic. It's also used a lot by Italians, so is not over-touristy and has a great local feel. Everybody working at the hotel is very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Breakfasts are a bit basic. The toaster is a grilling machine in which the bread sometimes refused to toast. Fruit offering could have been better; oranges, nectarines? There is a lot of sweet stuff at breakfast, like cake, tarts and sugary croissant, but a poor choice of quality cereal or freshly baked bread. The room was generally fine, although we were annoyed by a knocking sound for a couple of days. The floor was quite dusty and sheets did not seem to be changed very often. I don't know what the policy is, but we did have the same bottom sheet for at least 3 days.

The kindness of the staff, the lovely garden with the pool and its view on the valley
No cold water in the shower, the breakfast is very basic

beautiful pool, stunning location, spacious apartment, comfortable beds, very clean and well maintained, friendly staff
very limited use of towels..no pool towels-they would charge 2 euros per towel to go to pool but they were bath towels. they should invest in a different colored towel system like many hotels have for pool towels…like a bit larger and light blue for tracking purposes. also, breakfast not worth the 20 euros a person…we ended up not going since food wasnt really that good, and we just kept fresh fruit and bread in our room.

We loved the garden setting ..and unique location set high on a bluff overlooking the plains below..
.the Pool area was suburb...generous seating options on the property ,stunning summer flowers,
excellent English speaking staff were all so friendly and obliging
the fact that there weren't rails descending down to the Reception down the steep stairs,
the ivy growing up the main stairs outside up to the front door needed trimming so that the rails could be held properly
the internal steep stairs were hard and there needs to be warnings that these actually exist/...ie not good for older people
not enough power sockets and perhaps Muti boxes by each bed might be more helpful
Attic rooms were too stuffy and sky light roof window was broken and could not be easily open nor could it be left open
was there a sign to tell the staff that for the environment we did not need daily fresh towels or our beds made...totally un necessary...too much washing and water use
no sign saying we could use the laundry to dry wet clothes?
did not like the design of the dining room too modern particularly plastic chairs and no pictures or painting on the walls.......
nice to have had an opportunity to make our own tea or coffee during the day in the restaurant
also a small fridge freezer in the reception to buy cold drinks and ice cream during the day to enjoy by the pool
perhaps to buy alcoholic drinks in the evening to enjoy outside
no rubbish tin in our bedroom.
no sigh saying the plastic cups were disposable...real glass would be better anyway
more vegetarian options on the menu
warm shower Label by the Pool...hard to find and too cold!!

We loved our stay at Volumnia Country House. The owners and staff were incredibly helpful with all our needs. Personally I would have loved some veggies at breakfast, but thats me! The rest was yummy delicious.
The weather was the only down side. Too rainy and cold to swim.

Breakfast was good. Great flexibility to arrange an extra bed. Good communication.
Heat of the water was sometimes not reliable.

I had a wonderful experience at this property 15 years ago and was excited to return, and glad that I did. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen them and updated bathroom, with lovely views. The location is perfect for visiting other towns, which can be reached in about 30 minutes in any direction. We stayed for 9 days and could have used a few more days. The Umbrian region is underrated.

They were so helpful and very accommodating. We have travelled a lot recently and opted to stay here longer as the room was so comfortable

I am sorry I only stayed one night. The location is 10 minuets by car from central Perugia and is a very easy drive. The grounds are lovely and would make an ideal place to stay to explore the area. The house is extremely clean and the grounds are very nicely kept. The staff is helpful with restaurants and travel advise in the area. I will come back to use this hotel as my hub to explore this beautiful region
The shower was a bit week and I had to wait for water to heat it. The beds were OK, but not the best I have slept in, but very clean and spacious.

The property is stunning, staff are lovely and friendly, swimming pool is fantastic with beautiful views and plenty of sun loungers. Breakfast is standard and the food at the restaurant was lovely.
The property is situated next to a busy road which is handy for getting a taxi into town but not able to walk anywhere or get a bus.

I arrived late at night and the owner of the property welcomed me with arms wide open! the manager also had taken the time to make a video that showed me how to have access to the property and to my room which was so helpful! my room was a large suite on the top floor and was very cozy. The property itself stands alone looking over sweeping views of olive groves and the foothills of Perugia. That’s s place also has a beautiful outdoor lounge, a pool, and a spa. I would stay here again!

It is my and my wife's opinion that Domus Volumnia Country House it is not just a nice place to stay, but a Little Piece of Paradise. Aurore went out of her way to recommend restaurants in town and to facilitate our various tours and to really make us feel as if we were the owners.
We cannot wait to get back and stay for an extended period of time.

We really found Nothing .....not to like.
