A cosy winter stay
Warm, clean and comfy rooms with great decor. Slightly on the small side but it was only for one night and on the upside rooms are incredibly well stocked - a clean lavazza coffee machine, iron and ironing board all included! Breakfast was delicious! All staff were lovely and helpful.

Excellent little pub and hotel, lovely comfy bed, very friendly staff and an amazing breakfast included with so many choices . Great value for money.

A warm welcome, friendly staff and a comfortable room
Lovely, warm and welcoming. Although our rooms were above the bar area you couldnā€™t hear the customers downstairs. Very friendly and helpful staff. We ate in the restaurant the first night and the food was excellent. We stayed on B&B and I would definitely recommend the breakfast

An absolutely lovely welcoming place to stay šŸ˜Š
This was our third visit to The Millstone and it didn't disappoint. We love the place. The location is very peaceful and the staff so welcoming. Great breakfast too. We come from Scotland to visit relatives and will definitely be back šŸ˜€
Not really a criticism just personal choice, we don't like memory foam mattresses...they are far too hot...we also like to have an opening window. We will ask about this on our next visit but it won't stop us coming!

Poor quality accommodation
The bar is dog friendly, warm and welcoming.
The accommodation is worn, dated and our room was at the top of very steep stairs. The noise from neighbouring residents was intrusive. The room was cold as the radiator was not working. .

Lovely location. Superb food and menu choices.
Shower was quite low and difficult to stand under.
