A pleasant stay. We have stayed here before and we will stay again.

Room and breakfast were fine. The bed was comfortable. The room was very well heated, in fact I turned the heating off as the room was too warm.

The shower in the morning was not very good. I couldn’t regulate the water to achieve a comfortable temperature. I was either in danger of getting scalded, or freezing. The water kept going from scalding to very cold without me touching the “controls”!

Fire Alarm went off around 2:30am false alarm. No staff attended for over half an hour luckily it wasn’t an actual fire left stood in the car park with no information whatsoever. Eventually got back in 40mins later. Toilet didn’t flush and had a water gurgling noise all night we hardly slept. An abysmal experience unfortunately.

Breakfast was satisfactory but staff starting to clear away as it was 8.45am Very early 7-9 am on a Saturday Food in the evening was excellent tasty and great value The staff went out of their way to contact me later as I had left an item in the room - excellent staff communication- thanks

Awful

It had a room free late notice

There were no staff available at the property. I had to go to the restaurant to find someone to check me in. The heating was extremely poor. The room was entirely too cold to be comfortable. The bed linen was so light that it was not suitable for the cold temperature of the room and left it impossible to get warm enough to sleep. The bathroom was run down with numerous chips and damage on the bath and toilet. There was only one towel in the room. Luckily I had a towel in my luggage as the only way to contact an employee was to call a number that had been taped to the front of reception. I understand it is a value property. But even at £62.00 this felt like poor value for a very uncomfortable and cold nights sleep.

Friendly staff, big clean room with a great shower. Food and service in the pub excellent and very reasonable cost.

The mattrrss on the bed was shocking, well passed its useable life, really uncomfortable.we had very lityle sleep. We had a late night and an early start and had no time to discuss with the staff.

Great location for my one night visit.

Great location and very friendly staff. Comfortable, well appointed room, and loved the lighting options. Excellent full breakfast.

Coming back from breakfast in an adjoining building and was locked out of room. Was a one-off issue as computer hadn’t realised we weren’t still on summertime! Luckily staff on hand to let us back into room.

Fair for the price

The room was spacious. The lady on reception was nice and polite. The beds were comfy.

The smell of airfreshner was over powering, like they where trying to hide a smell, to the point I could taste it. The bathroom was very worn, with rotten wood around the bath and broken fan.

Great place to stay, great facilities, staff are welcoming and professional.

Easy book in, welcoming reception area where a friendly, courteous and professional lady booked me in and explained how to use the card key to enter the hotel and room. Room was excellent, very comfortable bed and tea and coffee making facilities.

No complaints at all. This is an excellent place to stay and there was nothing I did not like.

Room was comfortable but pillows were very hard and a little uncomfortable

Toilet groaned when flushed. The door code used after hours is temperamental at opening the door and didn’t work first time and took several times till door lock clicked and opened.

Room was aged and damaged, bed was hard and under stocked only one set of towels for a room for two. Smelled of damp and no instruction on how to use heating so cold. Took and hour to sort. Information on additional charges for pets wasn't supplied and messages sent to query this wasn't answered till we arrived at the hotel so had additional charges to pay.

Plenty of parking, and although on a main road, no road noise, although room a bit stuffy. Huge tv, good tea/coffee facilities

Room very tired, quite shabby, moth trap in between the beds, which wasn't a comfortable one to try and sleep on. Bathroom fittings old and clunky, no toilet roll holder. Shower curtain looked grubby and was ripped at the top. Lots of cosmetic damage. Food in adjacent restaurant, underwhelming, salad inedible, and witnessed drug dealing. Breakfast started and hour after we left
