Very good budget hotel, lovely host.

The host was a lovely man, very warm, welcoming and helpful. It is a budget hotel but it was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower worked well - what more do you need? The location is very central, less than a ten minute walk to the station and in the midst of all the shops. Excellent value for money.

No issues considering the price paid.

Good location, friendly staff, spacious room

Super friendly owners who were very accommodating. The room we had was a family room with ensuite and was perfect for our needs (big family). The room was clean and well presented. Would 100% recommend

Fire alarms kept going off in early hours so little sleep. Room was noisy.

Great place to stay

The location was great in the center of the town. Near to bus tation and train station so easy to get about. Lovely bar called the drummers nearby, give it a try. Gentleman on the reception was lovely and very helpful. I will be staying there again.

Looks like they had some work done on the shared bathroom we were using. There were still some workmens footprints that were not mopped up. This was the only thing that I could find wrong.

Business stopover

Convenient location, short walk from the train station, affordable, very useful for a quick stop over. The concierge was very helpful and was able to advise me in any of my queries. The room was clean with fresh sheets and towels, mirror and chair were useful for work purposes. It is useful to also spend a little more for the private bathroom.

Food options would have been an advantage, as no shops other than McDonalds are open before 8am. But this is made clear in the listing that there is no food served at the apartments.

Rude staff

Location is excellent

The reception staff was very rude, beds were uncomfortable. The shower door was broken, windows didn't open. Will not be staying again. The man on reception was complaining about a delay in payment from booking.com, not an enjoyable stay.

I was given room 12 for a disabled person. Shower/toilet was filthy, with limescale everywhere. Furniture was on it's last legs. Even at £47 it was over priced. Don't book this doss house.

Highly recommended. The location is perfect for the centre of Blackburn.

A very pleasant and excellent value stay. The host was extremely friendly and the room very spacious and well furnished. The bathroom was modern and well equipped. You just need to remember the shower switch on the outside wall on before using it!
