Verandahs Boutique Apartments

Location was perfect, and the apartments were large, comfortable and clean. Had everything you could need for a longer stay - in particular, the washer/dryer was great to have as we were travelling with small children.

The only thing we didn’t love, was the pool is a little difficult to get in and out of - rocky surface but steep incline and nothing to hold onto. Our small kids soon got the hang of it but we watched several older couples struggle to safely get in and out. A handrail would be so helpful. The tiles at the entrance of the pool definitely need some rubber matting, particularly around the bbq. But other than that, absolutely no other negatives to this stay.

Rooms were spacious and very clean. Great location. Nice view of pool.

Would have been good to have a coffee machine.

We stayed in apartment 2, which had minimal stairs to walk up (we travelled as a multigenerational family, with older grand parents who have limited mobility) and it was perfect. A roll away was placed in one of the bedrooms, so we could have five people staying in the apartment. The outdoor balcony areas were massive! Pool was great for kids. It is also close to the main street and the beach (grab a coffee and walk along the beach in the early morning!). All the restaurants we tried were fabulous with great food and there is a fabulous bookstore on the main street (bookstore by day and Mexican by night!)
