Excellent location. We stayed in a room with a Balcony, room was well kept and clean. Breakfast had a good spread. Overall stay was wonderful. Our room was little uphill & the hotel provided with buggy pickup & drop. So no complaints.

Perfect start of holiday!

The accommodation was excellent, the room was beautiful, and the view was breathtaking. The staff were extremely friendly. The location is great — everything is close by (the beach, and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby).

The only minor issue was that the pool water was very cloudy, but that probably says more about poorly behaved guests.

Nice family friendly hotel in Ao Nang, not luxurious.

The location is perfect, basically on the main street but away enough not to hear the noise! Pool was nice but too small and without data on chlorine, pH and similar.

First we got a room overlooking the main street which was unbearable so asked for another and got one furthest away, which was nice but it was basically on the ground floor and couldn’t keep balcony door open at all. The view was in the steep forest hill (very very close) and many rats were around so not very smart to keep the balcony door open. Good door screen would have solved the problem! Also, corridors and stairs within the buildings are very plain, looks cheap and unappealing. Rooms are quite small, but ok. A bit of refurbishment would do well!

Location was good for shops and food. Unlikely to return to this place due to the physical incline.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK good bacon. Room was kept clean with a good supply of bottled water. Bed was comfy and the pillows one was soft and the other firm making it not too high.

The room had lots of stairs to get to it and when it rained some was out in the open. For people in their 70s this was not appreciated. The pool area when it was wet was slippery and we had to go passed this going too and from the room. The room we had was in building no 5 and these were not interconnected.

A comfortable and enjoyable stay

The room is very new and clean, beds are super comfortable, makes me want to go back to hotel earlier to rest. Staffs are friendly and knowledgeable, provided sound advice to my queries.

As our rooms are at the back of the resort, we need to climb a few steps everyday to get to our rooms without any shelter. Perhaps can consider building a sheltered walkway.

Not the best experience for us.

Positive - close to Aao Nang beach and plenty of restaurants, bars, spas and shopping options. Staff - You checked us in the day we arrived and was pleasant and helpful. The housekeeping team was also very polite. They provided us with extra hangers.

Location - if you are looking for a quieter holiday Aao Nang is not the place. There are quieter beaches like Klong Mueang. Front Desk Staff - we stayed for 5 nights and on 2 of those days no housekeeping was done till 3PM. When I called the front desk I was rather rudely told that only rooms with check ins on the day get cleaned by 3 and the rest of the rooms only after 3! I have never heard anything of the sort in the multitude of hotels I’ve stayed in across the world. Not only that, it was the way the lady communicated it felt like I was being scolded for asking. Not a good experience at all. And while I understand Holiday Inn is a chain and they are overrun with guests perhaps, there was no warmth, not even once did anyone ask us how our stay was. Facilities - the electric points in our room kept shutting off. That said, the electrician promptly fixed it every time and was very polite. Cleanliness - while the housekeeping staff was very polite and helpful our room was not cleaned well at all. Even the bare minimum of wiping down the glass on the tables was neglected. I feel bad complaining about these folks who I could see were rushing around to complete their tasks but maybe they are understaffed or something after Sonkhran.

Great hotel and location but little sleep due to noise!

The hotel is in the perfect location for travellers! 5-10 min walk to Ao Nang beach and lots of restaurants/bars around! The hotel is clean and plentiful breakfast covering all options! The hotel pool has enough beds we always got one when we went! The staff were lovely! I stayed in room 2408! The room has no soundproofing at all! All you hear is motorbikes going up and down the street all night revving their engines as well as loud music from vans/cars! I could still hear it through earplugs! It was difficult to sleep a full night!

clean and quiet room. was a little on the small size but comfortable all the same and did the job of a one night stay. balcony was tiny.

Too many screaming children in the pool for my liking lol. Also im a level 3 booking.com customer and i'm meant to get free breakfast and a free upgrade but the staff at the desk at this hotel said they had never heard of this which i found disappointing. They seemed a little rude and dismissive about it

Good value and location- however cleaning and food quality can be improved on

The location was pretty good. About a 5 minute walk down to Au Nang beach. There is a wonderful Italian restaurant situated to the left of the hotel as well as a laundry shop. Across the street ( towards the right side) was a street market which was incredible and reasonably priced. We picked up Thai food, smoothies, rotis on a daily basis. An Indian restaurant right across was also decent. Breakfast was included and had a variety of items. We didn’t love it. We have had better elsewhere but it is all a matter of taste. I appreciated the pool on the property as well. We stayed in building 2 ( balcony with a sea view) . The sea was visible but not as close as I thought it would be. Our building location was above the breakfast restaurant- so convenient. Our friends were situated in another building which was a bit of a challenge and required cart access if you have mobility challenges.

I felt that the cleaning standards were significantly lower than in other properties I have stayed in ( Bangkok and Phuket). Things had been missed in the overall cleaning of the room. This hotel had a significant amount of young children. I have two teenagers and I can appreciate the challenges of parenting young children- however if you are looking for a peaceful location- this is not the place for you. This was especially noticeable during breakfast. If you do have children then this is probably a property to consider.

Overall Worth to stay! A little too far to the Beach.

Overall room Was so nice and comfy! Breakfast, towels at pool, elevators, nice people and frieny Staff Was so go too! I hope I will come back there as fast as possible. This is my honeymoon trip. I also recommended so friendly stuff from garden. It Was pleasure to see so many smiley when going to breakfast at the morning.

Too many Hindy people make so much mess and left dirt behind(dropoed food under table at breakfast, droped towels info water and on Sun loungers at pool - stuff clean it not so often)

Hotel on a loud street

That we found another hotel close by where we could hear birds singing instead of hearing drunk tourists:)

The hotel is located on a street with pubs and clubs playing very loud music all the time (I believe not only during the night). You can hear it from the rooms, too (we checked two, from which, one was not ready, pillows on the floor, not cleaned, etc.). When we arrived, we didn't like the approach towards our room requirements (and showing us room which was not ready but acting like it is, that made us feel unsafe) as well as the type of vibe this hotel gives due to its location and type of guests. That is why we requested cancellation and are awaiting a refund. If you don't mind living on a party street, then the hotel should be OK I guess. We prefer quiet hotels in secure areas.
