The most accommodating stay anywhere. Absolutely beautiful team in every area. They couldn't do enough for you. Such beautiful people to engage with. Some have limited english but a smile and a thank you goes a long way. Breakfast is so incredible and such lovely people to chat with. Food is divine. Five the omelet chef is gorgeous, his passion for his 'egg stand' wow!! nothing is a problem. Scrambled, fried, omelettes all made with love. His smile is infectous. Natty, Milk, Pine are just amazing and engaging. We talked food, our trip and laughed a lot. As on every trip you see other visitors who treat staff like they are invisible and it's their job to serve them. Not us we all have a job to do. Interacting with such fabulous people makes any holiday. Last night we had an HR lady check in with us at the rooftop bar. On how we found the language barrier or any improvements we could see. Just WOW. Plus Krabi is clean, pretty and laid back.

After spending three nights at Banyan Tree, we stayed here for two nights to experience a different side of Krabi, and it was the perfect combination. The hotel's biggest advantage is its excellent location. Everything is within walking distance, including Ao Nang Beach, restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, massage shops, and shopping streets. It was also a great base for visiting Railay Beach by longtail boat. We booked the Superior Sea View Room with an outdoor bathtub. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was great. However, during the rainy season, the outdoor bathtub was difficult to use because rainwater easily reached the balcony, and the sea view wasn't as impressive as we had expected. Looking back, we think the regular Sea View Room would probably offer better value. We also tried the Avani Spa, and it was excellent. The Signature Touch treatment was relaxing and reasonably priced compared to many hotel spas. Service was friendly and efficient, although naturally less personalized than a luxury resort like Banyan Tree. This isn't a criticism, just a different style of hospitality. Overall, Avani Ao Nang Cliff is an excellent choice if you want to explore Ao Nang while staying in a comfortable hotel with a great location. We would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are not great, very wet and stuffy, during our stay we have changed the room and it was a bit better but still with same issue like unpleasant odour and always wet floor and linens, I would recommend the staff to pay attention to overall air circulation within the room. Breakfast was good!
