The location, the friendliness of the staff

Our room was really noisy. The room was also not very clean.

We had a good stay at Avani and I highly recommend. We ended up requesting to be moved to another room because I couldn’t sleep and they were able to accommodate this the 2nd night. They told us to pack up all our stuff and leave it in the room. When we got back, they had moved all of our belongings and everything in the fridge as well! Breakfast was included every morning and it was decent. There is a fresh egg station and then the standard breakfast options. The last day, there was a huge line to get into breakfast so I’m not sure what that was about but the other 2 mornings were fine.

We booked a room that was in the first building on the 2nd floor, not realizing this was basically on the street and that the street was VERY loud with motorcycles/cars/bars/music all night long. It’s great for location but not great for sleeping. The infinity pool does not have a lot of chairs and filled up very quickly. Lots of people putting towels to hold chairs which I despise.

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The entire facility (pool, gym, restaurants, etc,) was spotless, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food was delicious, and everything during our stay was flawless. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it.

Different levels: have to use lift or stairs. Room with sea view but far end corner: could not get sun set. Had to leave 2 days earlier for medical reasons: no gesture no partial compensation

Breakfast had a good variety, was fresh and changing daily or every other day. The staff was very friendly. The location was good and the view of the cliff from the breakfast area was great. Lastly, the pool was small but well located.

The room was very expensive for its value. The mattress was really uncomfortable and we couldn’t sleep well and there was a constant smell of humidity. Also it was overlooking a parking lot and we were given the impression that we would have mountain view based on the room description we booked. Last but not least, it was really loud from the street, the room wasn’t soundproof.

Location is great, walking distance from the beach with restraunts and grocery stores as soon as you step out. Food and drinks available 24/7 as soon as you step out. It's on the main road as well, so you can easily step out and come back at night. The hotel is great, it is better from the inside than the pcitures online and the way it looks from the outside. Breakfast was great as well, wide spread with a lot of good options. The rooms was comfortable and the ammenties provided in the room exceeded our expectation, the view was outstanding. The staff was courteous and helpful, their app was useful for some things as well. You could request someone to clean your room even if you'd already left the hotel. Do make sure to ask for 7th floor or higher while booking.

There was an unusually high amount of humidity in the room. So much so that one of our phones got moisture in the charging port before we ever even got to the beach. The roof of our room used to be wet with humidity at times.

Stunning location just a short walk to the beach. In the middle of shopping & restaurant area but not noisy at night. Pool was amazing. Staff from all areas could not do enough to make your stay the best. Breakfast so much choice all well prepared and lovely chef came out to see everyone. House keeping excellent

The resort location is good, the views are spectacular. Our room was large. Everything clean and comfortable. We used the airport pick up and found that service provided by Yob wonderful, so friendly and welcoming.

The room amenities were basic no extras. We found some of the breakfast items to be cold e.g precooked eggs and meats. Otherwise no issues.

I like the room alot, lots of specious, and comfy foods are expensive, moving to outside bit confusing the area very live

The gorgeous cliff scenery from our room, rooftop pool and breakfast spot was the highlight of our stay. We also had a wonderful spa experience with warm and friendly spa staff. I'm happy we were in a room farther from the main road because I found Ao Nang to be very noisy into the night.

This is my second stay here and it is always good. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff are very friendly. Amazing breakfast offered each morning. Comfortable sun loungers and clean pool area the only negative is the room smelled a little musty on both stays. I think this might be a drain problem.

Everything was incredible! We booked a premium (or maybe superior - whatever the best one was) sea view king room that was on the 8th floor - the highest point in the hotel. We took so many videos of the room and view. The bed was SO comfy and they sent us extra pillows on request. They provide unlimited water bottles which we loved and they even gave us a breakfast to-do basket because we were leaving to the airport before breakfast started. The room itself was huge, had tons of storage space, drawers, a wardroad, robes, slippers etc. It was also very very very clean. There was a pool on the balcony and a rain shower with a seperate handheld shower head and a bench. The staff delivered our bags to our rooms, took them down when we were leaving and even delivered Grab delivery meals to our room for us. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, from the breakfast staff, restaurant staff, front desk, house keeping, bell boys etc. Breakfast buffet was out of this world - they had stations where you could have fresh noodles and omlets cooked, fresh fruit, fresh juices, an expresso bar... SO much to choose from and everything was great. Great location a 5 minute walk to the boat ferry "office" and pick up point. We also enjoyed the spa twice and I got one of the best massages that I have ever had there. Such an incredible experience and stay. The pictures don't do it justice. Infinity pool was gorgeous. Highly recommend getting a sea view! The top floor above us (9th) is actually a bar that is only open certain hours but we went up there when it was closed. By looking around and walking around it seems like the room we got was the highest view room in Ao Nong of the beaches and mountains. We got beach and mountain views! The room was also mostly quiet - one Saturday night we could hear some competing loud music from other places until 10:30 p.m. but other than that super quiet the rest of the time.

They do have laundry service but it was a bit expensive. We used it for a few things and it was great, but my husband brought the bulk of our clothes to a place a few minutes away. Nothing else though, this was an incredible memorable stay!

The location is central. 7/11, Starbucks and Mac Donalds outside the hotel. 10min to the beach and night market. The rooms were clean. Infinity pool on toof top.

The restraunt staff weren't great at all. While house keeping and front office were pleasant, the restraunt staff at the morning buffet weren't pleasant by any means. I arrived 3 mins before the buffet closed and rushed to get the kids a cereal and fruit. From rolling their eyes to huffing and puffing, they were keen to show their dissatisfaction with poor behaviour. The restraunt manager even cared to be sarcastic enough to mention, please come at 7am tomorrow! They even unplugged the coffee machines to make a point! Thanks Avani, but we definitely wont be recommending you or coming back!

The staff were helpful and friendly especially Ak. The location was ideal as we had a room by the top infinity pool so far enough away from the Main Street. Breakfast was great and the ppl at the top was amazing especially the view. House cleaning was well done and now we understand the use for the bath on the balcony (washing your smalls) it wax all in all a great place for 6 days

The bed was a bit hard. We could get the aircon to change from 20 ( nor a complaint if your British) and they did close the Cliff pool from 3 till 7 on the Friday for a function. It was fine as there are 2 pools but not great.

The staff were amazing, the hotel was very clean, the pools were lovely! So much choice with breakfast options, very close to peer easy to get to!

The laundry service is expensive
