The location and the room. Would have preferred a sea view

My wife and I booked a Double Room with balcony with a sea view for a 1 night stay. We were aware that the location was c 15min walk from the town centre and that they had a restaurant which was usually open for dinner on Sunday. We were very pleased with our choice as the room was a reasonable size (205 sq ft) and was comfortable, with a good view of the bay. The car park is open and free - no reservation required. Our dinner was excellent with a great prawn starter, boeuf bourguinion and salmon main courses and a good quality rose wine in carafe option. The hotel staff - both in reception and the restaurant for dinner and breakfast - were friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English.
The hotel is located on a road which can be busy/noisy at times if you have windows open but that would not put us off staying here again if we were in the area.
The weather could have been better - obviously outside the hotel's control !!

We had a family suite with one double bed and 3 Twin beds on mezzanine. Sea view, very nice
We tried all day long to reach out to the hotel as we were attending a wedding and knew we would arrive by night. We were never able to speak with someone. We got a voice message at 10:23pm that starting 10:30pm there would be no one to welcome us and that we needed a PIN code to enter the premises. Again took 3 tries to be able at last to speak with someone …. At last we got the car and could make it to the hotel but it’s a terrible organization! Why not text or WhatsApp the client such code? We made the comment to the receptionist in the morning and she said we couldn’t get ahold of them the day before because her colleague was busy. She was not sorry or bothered at all when we could have been left out the door at 2am with 3 kids…..
