Lovely spot by the sea to spend a mini holiday

The room was very comfortable and the view on the bay was fabulous . The restaurant was very nice as well.

There was renovation work starting on the morning we left. It would have been correct to tell us that they started demolishing everything next door at 8 am.

Exceptional stay at a beautiful oceanfront location with great food!

Our room was generous with a huge oceanfront balcony and very cool decor and features. The bathroom was large and had an excellent soaking tub. And the view was phenomenal. We stayed an extra day just to watch the storms roll in and then the rainbows break out. We had two terrific dinners in the restaurant as well as drinks on the patio and really superb breakfasts. The staff was also wonderful. Could not have been happier, and such a good value!

Room with good sized balcony overlooking beach and panoramic views. Excellent breakfast and staff friendly and helpful. Nearby fine coastal walks

Room cramped and little space around bed and tiny bedside shelf. Shower flooded part of floor as little protection. Restaurant meals overpriced for portion sizes and not value for money.

Layover family stay for 3 nights

Location directly at the beach (unfortunately we had bad luck and during our stay there was a lot of sea weed all over the otherwise for sure nice beach) Large living room in our suite Glenan (room 108), large terrace with private jacuzzi.

There was a lack of cleanliness observable in our suite and the hotel overall (dust, dirty windows, stains on curtains and walls, water in suite’s private jacuzzi, etc.) The hotel also needs some maintenance work done, also in the suite (eg. paint coming off, cupboard in smaller bed room of suite is quite worn off, toilet porcelain was broken/showed an old, big crack,…) Second bed room in the suite (for us the kids room) is quite tiny for two people and unfortunately the window in it is directly towards the room over the kitchen with the loud kitchen ventilation directly below. So we kept the window mostly closed to keep the noise out. It is unfortunate that the hotel has no reserved parking at the entrance for travelers arriving for check-in to unload their luggage. Public parking is not too far but that would have been convenient with our big luggage.

Very comfortable room on ground floor as requested, nice private deck with fantastic beach and sea views.

Menu in restaurant was fixed, which was fine for a 4 day stay but it would have been a bit monotonous for a longer stay. A few Plats du jour would have improved it.

Load banging music from party till 10 pm. Not told this was on. Room appeared to be a dumping ground for furniture. All mismatched and out of place.

Extremely disappointed!

The restaurant & terrace were the only things we liked about this hotel.

Apart from the restaurant, this hotel is drab, dull, and bare. The hotel entrance is shabby and uninviting, with a reception that is really just part of the bar area. We were so disappointed when we arrived, and really sorry we had booked it. We were directed to our room, which was so small that we couldn't get around the room without bumping into each other. At €300 per night (which didn't include breakfast), we were really, really disappointed, and felt terribly let down. The wash basin soap dispenser was grubby and empty. The shower had an open side that allowed water to spray onto the bathroom floor resulting in us putting a large bath towel on the floor to keep it safe from slipping!

Superb

Really liked the room's interior design, standard of finish, comfort and views from the small balcony. Plus listening to the waves on the beach from the room.

The hotel reception also being the reception for the bar / restaurant. A smokey environment so not the best first impression.

Disturbed sleep ruins any break. Disappointing.

Breakfast great. View lovely. Staff excellent. Noise problem. I must commend Mi Playas staff. Problems were addressed within their remit and capability eg. when I reported cockroaches, I was bought a spray to deal with them. When fans stopped working, a stand-alone fan was brought, one was fixed via the power point, the other needed an unavailable replacement part. When I told them it was impossible to use any electronics from the kitchen table and sofa, an extension cord was brought upon my request. All within 24 hours. Logistics are a constant in an island environment, however ultimately the owners/management are responsible to ensure things run smoothly.

I did enjoy most elements of my stay, but there are serious issues that need addressing by the owners/management. 1. The property needs a comprehensive overhaul and up-date. eg. fixtures and fittings need replacing, usable power points are non-existent, switches are unreachable... the snagging/repair list is extensive. 2. Cockroaches in a kitchen and bedroom are unacceptable. Totally. 3. Noise. To be woken every night and disturbed throughout the day by the water pump filling after using any water facility in the whole property ie. shower, lavatory, sinks, is unacceptable. Totally. 4. The neighbour's daughter daily uses the front of each apartment as a cut-through. She walks straight over the wooden decking within a few feet of occupied sun-loungers with a cocky, arrogant, youngsters grin. She and her parents have been repeatedly asked to stop this intrusion to no avail, by management, myself, and my French neighbours. For the money paid, the lack of sleep, and the daily issues that needed to be attended to, the property was vastly overpriced for a sole client. I must commend Mi Playas staff. Fantastic ocean front apartment

Fantastic location, ocean front. It’s spacious. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Someone was waiting for us when we arrived. Host responsive and aways willing to assist. Wifi worked well. We would stay there again! It is our favourite place we stayed in the Galapagos so far.

We had a few bumps but nothing that prevented us from really enjoying our stay + the host was responsive. I think when visiting the Galapagos, you need to be realistic about your expectations and be patient. Resources are limited, it’s not perfect but who cares, you are in the Galapagos!

The location facing the beach is excellent. We were put in a very small room initially. Nothing like the pics on your site but after asking if there was a bigger room, they swapped us with no bother.

Although the location is excellent, the rooms and the balcony are getting a little tired. They could do with a good make over. For example, the balcony furniture has a lot of green algae. Just a little tired

Lovely romantic spot for a weekend away.

View was fantastic. Room was good. Being able to lay in bed and see the sea was wonderful.Location was great for the beach . Great having a restaurant bar attached. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Shower temperature and pressure was wonderful.

Fridge did not keep food cold. Shower needs a lower holder as water just sprays to wall. We ordered a double bed and unfortunately we're given twin beds pushed together. They come apart at night. Parking is tricky when weather nice as people visiting the beach use the parking.

Loved this ocean front hotel.

The setting was magnificent, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant, bar and terraces stunning. We stayed in 3 different rooms: on our arrival date we were in room 1, a deluxe room, which was much too small. The next day, we were moved for 5 nights to the Glenan suite, a large apartment one floor up with a large living area, a nice bedroom with a king-size bed, a decent main bath, and a small second bedroom with 2 twin beds and a small bath. The suite had an enormous private terrace. Except for the tub and shower floors, which were very slick, the suite is one of the best hotel rooms I’ve experienced in Europe. We spent our last 2 nights in room 3, a junior suite on the ground floor. It was smaller than I like, but acceptable for a couple of nights. The footing in all three tubs, and the shower in the Glenan suite, were treacherously slick. The hotel really needs to correct that condition before a guest slips and is seriously injured.
