Newly renovated Guest House. We had a big room to the backside with a nice and large bathroom and a private veranda. Everything was well equipped.
The closet smelled a little bit like detergent.
The location has nice views to the Lagoon and is within walking distance to the city of Knysna and Waterfront. It ist close to the N2, but the noise of the road didn‘t bother us.
Coleen and Cecil are nice hosts who gave us a lot of good informations.
We could park our car on the premises.
Breakfast was fine and well tasting but seemed to have been portioned.

Absolutely everything! We stayed in the self-catering unit which was beautifully designed, spacious and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen with high end appliances. Another highlight was the warm reception and care from our hosts who were happy to share their local knowledge and recommendations from places to visit, restaurants and local shopping. There is so much to do around this area and some hidden gems. We will definitely return and recommend Hide Away Guest House to friends and family.
