Honestly, our little getaway to Brenton Haven was just amazing. It felt like we could finally slow down and just enjoy each other’s company without any distractions.
In the evenings, you’d hear the waves crashing and seagulls in the distance while the sun was setting… it was so peaceful, almost unreal. Those sunsets with my partner are definitely moments I won’t forget anytime soon.
It was simple, calm, and exactly what we needed. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

The location is very nice.
We had to carry our luggage ourselves and there were few stairs. However the staff guided us on the shortest path to easily access the room.

The location is amazing! The view is amazing! The suits are good and spacious! The food at the restaurant is top quality !
We stayed 4 days at this place in their luxury suite. Before arrival they sent us a message informing that they have a water interruption due to burst pipe but they work tirelessly to fix the problem. We believe they were NOT completely truthful as by that day they didn't have water for 4 days aleady at the hotel but they didn't tell us that . We stayed for four days and the whole stay we didnt have running water except buckets of water they supplied to flush toilets. It's not their fault but as a client oriented, hispitality business they should have offered their customers some sort of compensation such as free breakfast or once off free dinner or discount at their restaurant, something to minimise the damage. They didn't.
When we arrived they told us our breakfast was included and we had free breakfast once only to have a manger of a restaurant come to us on the third day to tell us it's not included and we would have to pay for that breakfast. It sounded quite comical and pathetic at the same time as the running water to be able to shower and flush toilets is also supposed to be included yet it wasn't. :) yet no compensation was offered the whole stay we were there.
Overall atmosphere is that the management is not friendly at all and doesn't care. Apparently it's not the first time they had running water problem. Please always check if you are considering staying here.
Other things to consider:
- the rooms dont have intercom so we had to walk to reception 4 floors to ask for anything each time . They elevator only goes to the second floor and is extremely slow.
- luxury suites numbers 7,8,9 are affected by the loud noise of the restaurant's kitchen exhaust located right outside the windows under your balcony which completely drowns the sound of the ocean and the waves . Extremely irritating as it's on all the time!
The food at the restaurant is very good and top quility but the service is 50/50.
